JULY/AUGUST Planning & Preparation -Finalize fall campus events schedule – decide on what schools and what events you want to participate in -Sign up for fall career fairs/on-campus interviews -Train on-campus recruiting teams -Launch spring scholarship program -Contact student group leaders regarding sponsorship/speakers for meeting

JULY/AUGUST Planning & Preparation -Review and select academic department affiliate programs -Keep in touch with your talent network of students -Finalize summer intern program -Evaluate summer interns – provide info to hiring managers -Make employment offers -Send offer information to campus contacts -Attend Free Webinar: University Essentials: Interns and Your Campus Brand for more information on internship programs

SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER On-Campus Events -Attend fall career fairs -Hold campus events to build employment brand visibility with target students -Promote spring scholarships at on- campus events -Conduct fall on-campus interviews -Register for Free Webinar to find out how to make your brand memorable with on-campus events
  6. 6. SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER On-Campus Events -Conduct interviews of “hot” candidates from fall career fairs -Keep in touch with last year’s summer interns -Keep in touch with your talent network of students -Prepare budgets for next year’s summer interns

NOVEMBER/DECEMBER Reporting, Planning, and Preparation -Complete fall interview cycle -Make offers to students graduating in December – send offer information to campus contacts -Make offers to “hot” students from fall career fairs (graduating in the coming fall) -Sign up for spring career fairs -Get headcounts for next year’s summer interns and fall graduates from hiring managers

ONGOING ACTIVITIES Employment Brand Building Activities -Communicate with campus recruiting teams and incorporate feedback -Build relationships with faculty, career center staff, and student group leaders -Survey your new grads and interns about your college relations and recruiting process -Building your brand is a long-term investment – like planting a seed and reaping the benefits later
