of the goals of a public sector is to “to

established to provide the surrounding
community with free/affordable services
to stay healthy and to be able to keep a
healthy lifestyle no matter what income

It is considered recreation because this facility
provides different types of leisurely activities that
people can take part in to stay active. Recreation
centers are provided by the municipal

Recreation centers can be found in every city and
are considered a general need to the public. This
is the reason for why recreation centers are either
free or very affordable, so they can be accessed
by everyone.

sector because it is a public school which
provides free education for the youth in
the community. Public schools provide

society” like gymnasiums, workout

18 years old and aren’t old enough to be

Volunteer do the same job and lead
children/youth summer camps, but they
don’t get paid. Instead, volunteers gain
volunteer hours which they can use on
resumes when apply for schools or jobs.

These Summer Day Camps are organized by
the City of Surrey at the multiple recreation
centers across the city. The camps are
organized by age group which range from
toddlers to preteen camps. There are different
types of camps including, basketball camp,
soccer camp, multisport camp, etc. Each
camps is supervised by two- or three-day
camp leaders.

Heights Secondary. Both volunteer their
