driver (age 16) to salesman initially.
 Won 1996 Toyota Motor Company New Car Tent Sale competition best of 60 sales
consultants from all four major Toyota franchises in Sacramento Region.
 Promoted directly to finance manager from Sales consultant.
 Given sole responsibility in dealership finance department for training novice finance
managers including the owner’s daughter and son.
 Given sole responsibility of entire sales department of Folsom Lake Toyota twice a year for
three days from 1998-2002.
 Became Finance Director of Folsom Lake Kia.
 Founded a dealership from scratch, creating a loyal client base and prospered in the ever-
changing recent economy.
 Established, developed, and maintained a multi-faceted, cohesive sales force in which my
staff could take the sales process from greeting to contraction with close observance of
current financial guidelines and legal requirements.
 Dealership made the California DMV top 50 used car report of sales 2011.
 Became a top five independent dealer in Northern California with three different lenders
with an inventory of just one hundred cars.
 Bought dealership inventory from multiple sources based on creating wholesale
relationships, assessing vehicle condition and knowledge of current market sales.
 Advised customers regarding payment options, loans and leasing banking terms during the
difficult financial environment leaving them relieved, hopeful, and completely satisfied.
 Negotiated delivery (out of state and overseas from time to time) and price variations.
Office Work:
 Updated management daily; records of sales and funding of sales– Tracked progress of
existing contracts in transit.
 Effectively took care of crucial DMV paperwork as well as legal compliance.
 Kept track of quantities of cars while minding a tight schedule in order to increase vehicle
availability time.
Research Work:
 Maintained familiarity with used cars and remained updated regarding competitor’s
products.
 Kept up to date on changes in pricing, leasing programs, different incentives, vendors,
campaigns, and tradeshows.
 Paid close attention to the rise of social media such as Craigslist, Facebook, Yelp, and Twitter
bringing the dealership into the new era of car sales.
 Developed and discovered new Internet sales frontiers.
 Member of the Independent Dealers Association attending meetings with major vehicle
industry professionals such as DMV directors, automobile lobbyist, and legal experts.
