This is a project I completed as part of my Portfolio I course at Full Sail University. It was completed in September 2023. It is an inside look at who I am, what I stand for, my goals, and the type of content I wish to create.
2. Meghan L. Hall is a creative with a passion for
storytelling. From her early days in Marketing and Sales
to her current lane of Content Creation, she has always
been a visionary. Her superpowers include creating
something out of nothing and emotionally connecting
with her audience on a deeper level. Today, she

Short Term: (Immediately After Graduation, 2023)
• Secure a full-time position with a major media outlet doing staff
writing and reporting.

Bleacher Report, Yahoo Sports, CBS Sports, or NFL
Network and send them a LinkedIn message asking for
tips/what made them successful – implement 2 tips into
my daily routine
Mid Term: (2028)
• Shift from writing/reporting to a full-time sports analyst covering
football for one of the above companies.
‣ Successfully pitch a show idea (The Sports Tea) with an
all-woman cast breaking down the latest football news,
increasing viewership among women for the network by
5% during the show slot
Long Term: (2043)
• Start a media company of my own (Hall About Sports) that
provides coverage for other companies who want to cover a
sport but need the manpower (i.e. covering the WNBA for a local
paper)

in $100,000 worth of revenue annually by December 31,

You know how you get tired of the same old sports coverage, like stats you don’t understand and
clickbait titles that take you to content with no substance? Well, what I do is take those complex
concepts and content that isn’t fulfilling and inject them with simplicity and human elements. In fact, I
recently covered the AVP Gold Series Atlanta Open beach volleyball tournament and wrote about it from
the perspective of someone who is new to the sport. My article made it back to AVP and Al Lau, the
CEO of AVP and the Atlanta Vibe (Atlanta’s new pro-volleyball team), who attended the tournament.
Lau sought out to thank me for my article and said that it was a ”breath of fresh air” to read something
that wasn’t the same old things that come from the outlets that regularly cover the AVP and that the
human element of my writing stood out to him.
