My name is Derek Dvorak. I grew up in North Jersey
and attended High Point Regional High School
where I started tackling for the varsity football team.
Being part of a cultured football family,
fi
ghting
through injuries like a broken leg, and being
involved in the community as a football player
taught me the value of hard work, respect, and
commitment. I used these lessons outside of
football and used them to shape who I am today.
Whether it be working at a restaurant or football
stadium, doing schoolwork, or getting chores done I
commit to hard work every time and being a
respectful person to others.

‣ By midterm, I plan to promote to the sports
marketing team at ESPN and be a full-time
employee. Also, I will start to create project ideas for
ESPN and build my LinkedIn connection by over
25%.


Long Term: (2045)


• I plan on being in one of the top positions for the sports
marketing team at ESPN whether that be vice president or
president. At this point, I would start implementing my
own project ideas for ESPN.

  • 2. My name is Derek Dvorak. I grew up in North Jersey and attended High Point Regional High School where I started tackling for the varsity football team. Being part of a cultured football family, fi ghting through injuries like a broken leg, and being involved in the community as a football player taught me the value of hard work, respect, and commitment. I used these lessons outside of football and used them to shape who I am today. Whether it be working at a restaurant or football stadium, doing schoolwork, or getting chores done I commit to hard work every time and being a respectful person to others. IDENTITY

  • 5. GOALS Short Term: (Immediately A ft er Graduation, May 2023) ‣ I plan on having an internship or an entry-level position at ESPN as part of their sports marketing team. Mid Term: (2028) ‣ By midterm, I plan to promote to the sports marketing team at ESPN and be a full-time employee. Also, I will start to create project ideas for ESPN and build my LinkedIn connection by over 25%. Long Term: (2045) • I plan on being in one of the top positions for the sports marketing team at ESPN whether that be vice president or president. At this point, I would start implementing my own project ideas for ESPN.
