the PPPmethod. We will alsobe usingTPR whenwe encourage studentstopoint(ormove)
each bodypart as theyname it.Accordingto TPR, physical movementcanimprove second-
language acquisitionbycreatingmind-bodylinks.

. Pedagogical use of ICT inclass: In thislesson,childrenwilllistentothe songs (Helloand
Goodbye) inorderto singalong. A videowill alsobe usedtopresentdifferentbodyparts
(whichisthe teachingpoint).Inthisway,we caterfor visual,auditoryandkineasthetic
learners.
. Seatingarrangement: While listeningtothe “Hello”song,the childrenwill standinacircle
and singthe song,makingthe movementsthattheylearnedthe previousclasses. Then,they
will sitdownonthe floor(or intheirseats) while Iintroduce Lucy(the doll).Whenwatching
the videotheywill alsobe standingastheywill have toimitate the movementsthattheysee in
the video.

Warm-up– 3’
Purpose:to introduce the topic and the teaching points.

Presentation– 5’:
Purpose:to furtherexpose the learnersto the target language.
I will pointatand name eachpart of Lucy’sbody andencourage studentstorepeatthe words
that I say,like this:
T: “Look here children.ThisisLucy’shead (or“This isthe head”)(pointingtothe head).Let’s
repeat(orRepeat).”

the name of the bodyparts and mime the actionsthatthe boyinthe videodoes.
