MOST RECENT ROLES
Over the past four years, I served as a Regional Operations Manager in the Middle East. My
role was designed to create a sustainable profitable Route to Market model across the Middle
East, Turkey and Africa, “META” region. I acted as a thought leader to reimagine our
customer experience in ways that differentiated our company from competitors and
transformed how customers engaged with us. My responsibilities included translating
strategies into execution by leading complex projects, working with cross functional teams,
and partnering closely with functional leaders to shape decisions that drive the strategic
direction and/or key functions. Monitoring the voice of customer market trends and engaging
in industry events that promoted customer experience and best practices were part of
creating our competitive advantage. The end result is developing a holistic, integrated vision
that defines how customers interact across all channels and touch-points and identifying high
impact opportunities that will enhance the customer’s experience.
DESIRED FUTURE ROLE
My desired role could be described as a Senior Experience Manager who interacts cross-
functionally to bring customer and channel specific strategies into annual/mid-term joint
business plans. I will be a contributor to business growth through partnership and
collaboration with key stakeholders and top customers. I will cultivate and leverage internal
and external relationships with the objective of optimizing sales planning processes which
result in tangible customer improvements that lead to profitable growth. This role will have
accountability for leading solution development with our retail partners that will drive volume,
market share, and create a sustainable competitive advantage. This role will be the central
developer and owner of the sales collaboration process as well as with external/internal
partners including sales, customer marketing, marketing, manufacturing, finance, and supply
chain planning.
CAREER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Agility: Transformed the Gulf market from volume vs segment strategy into a customer
centric market boosting net profits by 15%. Developed a strong understanding of our customer and
market place and facilitated value stream mapping exercises to identify pressure points and wastes.
Led cross-functional brainstorming sessions to identify strategic solutions to complex business issues.
Innovation Management: Executed “PIPO” Halloween solution resulting in 5% YOY growth
representing $14M in incremental revenue. Recognized by customer as “Best in Class” in execution,
an honor given annually to the most collaborative partner of the year. Provided strategic consultation to
a top customer on ways we could meet our business goal of category growth that would differentiate
them from the competition. Collaborated with cross-functional teams within MARS to design a solution
to help our customer generate incremental growth.
Problem Solving: Leveraged the opportunity to turn a supply chain efficiency project into a
strategic customer initiative program. Through analysis, innovation and creative brainstorming,
created an approach that provided a “win/win” scenario for MARS and our top strategic customers.
This new approach guaranteed the customer their products on time and complete and alleviated our
need to rebalance and reduced the amount of overflow by 20% allowing the business to realizing a
$500K COGs and increase profitability.
