 Oversaw the opening of 60 new stores with accountability for identifying and analyzing new
markets, scouting and evaluating high-potential sites, and approving new lease agreements.
 Selected by the president to serve as the design region for the development of a new pilot

$55M in sales – 18 stores in Eastern NewYork – 250 employees
Continued to lead a high-volume, top-performing district after Advance Auto Parts acquired Parts
America in 1998, consistently ranking in the top 10 in sales volume out of 220 districts nationwide.
Opened 5 new stores to grow the district from 13 to 18 locations; completed all projects on schedule
and within budget.
 Awarded “District Manager of the Year” in 1999 and 2005 over 200+ other candidates.
 Received the company’s highest honor in 2006, the President’s Ring of Excellence Advance
Master.
 Ranked in the top 5 nationwide every year on key performance metrics including profit
contribution, average sale, units-per-transaction, audit scores, payroll control, and inventory
shrink control.
 Developed and mentored 5 general managers for promotion to district manager. Promoted 6
otherindividualstohigher-level roles including trainers and district/regional commercial sales
managers.
 Oversaw the remodeling and complete integration of 34 acquired stores into the company
including 19 Lappen’s Discount Auto Parts stores in 2005 and 15 Trak Auto stores in 2002.
