to till date.
Company Profile:-. M/s DB Corp Limited is a renowned brand name in Print Media Industry “Dainik Bhaskar” We are the
second largest read newspapers in pan India as per IRS. There are 14 states and 67 editions in all over India with total printing
capacity of 1.5million copies per hour.
Key Responsibilities:-
TALENT ACQUISITION AND TALENT MANAGEMENT:-
• Preparing and controlling of Unit Organizational chart and maintaining manpower planning for each deptt and preparing
head count report.
• Develop hiring strategy which includes job posting optimization, recruiting marketing channel development, job board
procurement, digital and non-digital employment marketing, comprehensive recruitment campaign planning, talent
planning, etc.
• Actively participate in hiring with agreed lead time, smooth on boarding process, complete documentation &
compliances.
• Ensure for medical fitness checkup/certificate before onboarding and Coordinate for issue the offer and appointment
letters.
• Establish & Preparing Job descriptions/ role clarity from day one for each position of all the functions for maximum
individual productivity.
• Implement a well-designed induction-training program to ensure smooth entry of the new employee into the main stream
of the company for company values, culture, process, policies & procedures, Joiner orientation, feedback for all new
hires. Responsible for induction process & joining formalities of new joiners.
• Participate in employment events, such as career fairs, Develop relationships with third party recruitment agencies and
staffing firms and manage the procurement and measurement process.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT:-
• Manage the training and development process through internal consulting on needs analysis and operationalizing the
training initiatives through planning and organizing training workshops and enhance the training effectiveness.
• Facilitating training needs identifications across levels through mapping of skills required for particulars positions,
analyzing existing level of competencies of individual’s vis-à-vis gaps in skills.
• Coordinating on various training for internal & external training and summer internship programmes, post training
analysis and feedback.
• Maintain all training records and details and achieve the average training man-days targets as per norms.
EMPLOYEE INVOLVEMENT AND MOTIVATIONAL ACTIVITIES / EMPLOYEE RELATIONS / GRIEVANCE HANDLING:-
• Arrangement for In house events, Initiatives for employee engagements like weekly fun at work, Health Camps, Sports
activities, Motivational speakers, Family day, B’day/Cake cutting celebration etc.
• Organize celebration for safety day, National festivals, Holi & Diwali festive celebration, suggestion scheme etc.
• Monitoring R&R Process and ensure for nominations from Business & Editorial Team.
• Implementing staff welfare policies with key focus on enhancing employee motivation
• Ensure maintenance of amicable employee management relations in the organization, by encouraging employees to
voice their opinions on common platforms through two way communication and inviting suggestions.
• Initiating & implementing suggestion box scheme, incentive schemes, Best employee award and other extra-curricular
activities. Also conduct for exit interview for improving employee relations.
• Proper resolution for any reported grievance with the help of concern resources and senior management. Ensure to short
out the people queries and their problems are addressed there and then clear understanding of the importance of timely
redressal of grievances. Able to resolve inter & intra group conflicts. Follow up / coordination in implementation of
action plan of communication forums.
PAYROLL & BENEFITS:
• Monitoring time office functions on day to day and ensure for given salary inputs / reimbursement inputs to payroll team
within timeline to credit the salary / wages and other reimbursement every month.
• Ensure for timely disbursement of employee benefits like Medical, LTA, and other reimbursements.
• Ensure for timely compliance of all statutory compliances & its filing returns, 100% statutory compliances, Timely
closure of legal notices if any.
• Ensure for timely submission of various statutory returns like ESI, PF, MW, Bonus, Gratuity etc.
• Keeping track of PF withdrawal & transfer claims.
• Monitoring complete entry / exit formalities in respect of men and material for the work through contractors.
• Ensure for all statutory compliances and also proper induction & job training for which they have been hired.
• Follow up for the Invoices for third party vendors timely.
ADMINISTRATION:
• Contract management – Renewal of existing contracts, Ensure for all AMC’s for AC’s UPS, Phone & Fax machines,
Xerox, Gen Set, etc. in place and proper renewal in time.
• Hotel Booking /Stay /Travel taxi management – Monitoring for Timely bookings and no hiccups to be ensured.
• Managing & controlling / administering travel related activities.
• Management of Housekeeping and security.
• Keep in touch with Govt. official of the labour deptt. /Factory act deptt /Employment exchange/ESI/PF office etc.
