R font is very harsh and sharp giving the connotations of Rihanna

standing out from the rest as people will remember for her brash

• Calvin Harris which is his real name is a Scottish DJ who’s produced
many dance singles such as Drinking From The Bottle, Bounce,
Summer and Blame with many more as well. Font taken from his latest
album Motion which caries the same font on all his singles as well. The
font is sans serif making it very simple, pure and minimalistic which
gives the connotations of being modern like dance music is.
• Tulisa is a stage name for Tula Contostavlos her birth name. A
female solo artist who produced her number 1 dance track Young.
Her font is taken from the single artwork but also is the same for
her album The Female Boss. Her font is her signature making it
personal to the audience helping the artist to connect to them.
• Duke Mumont is a DJ who’s real name is Adam Dyment has produced
number one dance singles such as ‘Need U (100%)’ and ‘I Got U’. His font
is the same on both of his singles which are both sans serif and very bold.
This gives off connotations of their music being loud, energetic and
something you can dance to which is what dance music is all about.

serif but harsh looking. An S that looks like a backwards Z giving it
something different about the image. The font also has stretched out
letters. The whole brand looks very retro which relates to the artist.
• Jess Glynne which is her birth name has featured on dance singles
such as Rather Be and My Love which both went to number one. She
also debuted her solo single Right Here which was also a dance
single which is where her font is taken from. Again this is a sans serif
font and is very minimal and modern which relates to dance music.
• Avicii is a Swedish DJ who’s birth name is Tim Bergling. He’s had hit
singles such as Wake Me Up, You Make Me and Hey Brother all
