2. Audience feedback
◦ A couple days ago I showed my film show to a couple people in my class and I created a google form with questions that I would
ask my classmates with the questions ranging from. What do you think I did well and what's some of the feature that you would
change if you were editing the video. So on these next couple of slides im going to be showing the responses I got from my forms.
3. First question
◦ On this question I decided to asked what feature really stuck out
to the two people that watched it and as you can see the answers
from the people who watched it was stretching from the clips I put it
from the scenes that we were talking about, or the amount of detail
me and my partner put in when we were talking about the movies.
4. Second question
◦ With the second question I ask what's one feature I did well,
and the people mainly answered this one about my editing with
most people saying it was smooth and not jumpy what led to an
enjoyable watch, so im glad my editing skills were up to par with
my audience.
5. Third question
◦ But when praise comes there's bound to be stuff that I did wrong. Such as by one
response said I messed up the background on one of the clips. And this because
towards the end when I was finishing up the clips we had to add up at the end since one
of the cameras I just wanted to get through it as fast as I could as I was stressed about
the re-shoot. But also as one of the responses say I had trouble with cutting clips as I
found it hard relocating strips to the right audio point or to a point were it looked well.
6. Fourth question
◦ Next question I just wanted to know people's favourite part and its mostly the same
comments from before were someone said that the comments me and my partner were
making were quite interesting and kept people intrigued during watching it. But
someone else commented that there favourite part was when me and Jacob were talking
about the dark knight as I thought out of the films that we were talking about that
would be people's favourite.
7. Fifth question
◦ Now for the last question I asked what was the main problems
with the video so I know what I can improve on for the next time
I edit a video or make something. And the main one was that
someone thought that I dragged on sometimes and I think that’s
because we spent to long talking about certain projects were other
people didn’t see any significant problems.
8. Reflecting on the
process
When looking back on the process of making
this film show I would say it was a fun journey
creating this as it helped me learn new skills such
as learning how to do a multi camera setup and
how to get better at using a green screen and
cutting clips Aswell as learning how to sync
audio onto clips.
But learning all these skills especially the multi
camera set up gave me a little bit more of an
insight into the different camera set ups that
other people into the media industry use to get
their job one. But obviously we all know they
will be way better at editing multi camera shots
unlike me. But it's not about how good I was at
it, it was mainly about the effort that I put into
the project, and I would say I'm glad about the
way the project turned out and I hope in the
many more projects to come I can improve these
skills even more.
9. Evaluating my
performance
◦ All together to evaluate my performance I would say I've
improved my skills from my last project especially in
terms of editing and using different camera shots. But
other than that, I have used different skills during the
making of this project with especially with the green
screen. Especially with learning how to import pictures
into the green screen.
◦ Now learning all these new skills did feel like a daunting
task I think it all came together in the end but I did make
mistakes as saw by the feedback earlier but that Is
normal in the media world as that is how I get better
with my skills with trial and error, but I think that was
especially shown during this project as I failed sometimes
in this project but I overcame it and started to learn the
skills in a better way.
