investment with same parts of CIVIC model, decided to develop higher
class brand. Sales, Engineering and Development team assembled in
discussion, shared each perspective to invent brand new model. From

non-existence.

improve engine efficiency many times. In terms of suspension, adopted
4-heel independent type, and radial tires to revamp it comfortable
combination. 5-speed transmission and extended elimination volume to
1600cc with their striving.
Internal instruments
Air-conditioner was integrated with installment panel to manipulate
comfortably, and readjust tailgate opener to realize open-and-close
smoothly. Power steering was first trial to Honda on mass production,
however, it brings operational efficiency and lighten the handle without
stress.
Accord Birthday
The new model, Accord was been distributed to market in 1976. It was
evaluated with internal comfortable and design accommodation.
Awarded car of the year with unexpected design, it was sold in total 30
thousands numbers. In the US, popularized as small premium car,
Honda also was steering a steady course in other countries.
