I was looking for a coaching training specialized on
parenting that was effective and
scientifically-informed. Then I found Jai, and thanks
to them the door to neuroscience experts that
backed up the values of conscious parenting with
solid evidence was opened for me. I gained so much
confidence by having this training that my career
thrived and of course I could first and foremost
apply what I have learned to the benefit of my own
life.

Latoya Davidson-Waldron
Preschool Owner & Teacher
Before
As the owner of a preschool for the last 20 years and a mother of 4,
from 27 to 7, I have used all the different behavior/discipline
strategies as they have changed over time. And the children are
fine, until they’re not, then anger, aggression, manipulation, or
shaming show up. I was constantly left wondering what I was
doing wrong.
After
I finally understand what it means to be a Peaceful Parent. I am
present, and learned to regulate myself so I can truly do my job and
be the guide and safe space as a parent. And the kids are doing
even better because they are learning and navigating their big
feelings with safety and security knowing I’m there, so now it’s not
so big and it’s not a struggle during stressful times. The best part is
that I now know how to help other parents do the same and I’m
excited to help change the world, one parent at a time.

9. Alexis Bonsall
Clinical Mental Health Counselor
Before Jai
As a trained therapist, I still felt clunky in sessions with little
direction or structure in supporting my patients to move forward
from their past experiences. I felt limited in my ability to provide
education and frameworks to move beyond the confines of
traditional talk therapy.
After Jai
Going through the Jai program has been so much more than I
expected. The program alone is so valuable and rich information
and what I love the most is how strength-based it is. So many
parents are struggling and feel like failures and this program is
designed to build you up as a parent. The coaching piece has been
amazing. The method they teach works so beautifully with my
clients. We can really get to the root of what is holding them back
in their parenting. Joining Jai has been life changing. I’ve started
my own business, seeing clients, and I feel so fulfilled to be on this
journey helping other moms.

Jerrod Zertuche
Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Before Jai
Even with all of my educational studies as a behavioral specialist, before Jai I still
lost my temper somewhat easily and didn’t really know how to keep my cool. I felt
like “bad” emotions (ie. anger, frustration, or sadness (yes, back in my day, sadness
was for wussies) were something to be ashamed of. When someone had a big
emotional event, whether it was my son, my patients, or family and friends, and
they came to me for comfort, I would go straight into problem-solving mode or
“look at the bright side” mode. I had no idea how my regulation (or lack thereof)
was affecting those around me.
After Jai
I am now able to keep my cool more easily and if I do “mess up” I know it’s because
of an unfulfilled need that I can identify on my own and calmly communicate it... I
also know I can repair the “mess up” to help others “close the loop” on big
emotional events and not shift into self-blame. I know ALL emotions are there for a
reason and I welcome their messages. Co-regulation has been a total
game-changer! In order for those around me to have a better chance of being
regulated and feeling safe, I need to do that for myself first. Leading this way as a
father and a practitioner has been life-changing. Although problem-solving and
positive spins were difficult habits to counteract, once I felt the connection of
providing validating statements and feeling the other person open up more and
lighten up more, I view this as a superpower!

11. Jacqueline Chang
Former Attorney-At-Law, Family Law
Before Jai
Since my teenage years, I’ve had a deep love for children and a
strong desire to be their advocate. My peaceful parenting journey
began when I received complaints about my three-year-old son’s
aggressive behavior at school. As an anxious parent, I embarked on
a quest to find a solution for his explosive behavior. I joined without
the intention of becoming a Parenting Coach. I NEEDED this for my
own family.
After Jai
When I joined Jai I never imagined that I would be transformed the
way I ended up being. At Jai, I discovered that my son wasn’t the
problem that needed fixing. I needed to heal myself first, to support
and meet him at his developmental stage. This program is the real
deal! I have not only learned how to show up for my kids but most
importantly myself! I am now a confident coach who can hold
space for myself and for my kids and my future clients. I am now
excited and embracing my new career path as a Parenting Coach.

Atiyah Azmi
Mother
Before Jai
Before enrolling in Jai, I had already embarked on the journey of
becoming a conscious parent. However, I quickly realized that my
understanding was incomplete and that there were many pieces
missing. My relationship with my children didn’t feel calm and
connected. I felt confused and was constantly second guessing
myself.
After Jai
As a result of this course, I have seen a remarkable change in my
role as a mother. My relationship with my children has improved
tremendously, and I have learned to be more compassionate
towards myself. This course has not only equipped me with the
knowledge and tools to empower families, it has also impacted my
personal growth. I wholeheartedly recommend this course to
anyone who is passionate about spreading positivity and light in
the world. By empowering one family at a time, we can create a
ripple effect of positive change.

13. Richard Dixson
Minister + Community Leader
Before Jai
I was overwhelmed with the frustrations of traditional parenting
and the ineffective tools of out-of-date practices. Every day was a
battle facing the chaos of raising four grandchildren and desiring
peace and calm. I felt incongruence in offering my ministry
parenting support (which is so needed) when things were so
chaotic in my own home.
After Jai
Parenting from a position of peace is the biggest difference Jai has
made. It was awesome to develop the confidence to throw away
generational parenting patterns that had been a plague to my
family life. It’s been refreshing to employ tools that work for my
family, and enjoy family life that was once flooded with chaos, and
now enlightened with calm. Jai provides the framework and
method to simplify parenting. This is a great place where
parenthood is humanized so parents can enjoy their children again.
It is my great honor to pass this knowledge on to the community I
serve.

The Jai Institute for Parenting Certification was an
incredibly transformative, educational, and healing
program for me. I’ve been through quite a few coaching

I’ve ever attended. I would absolutely recommend this
program to anyone interested in becoming a certified
parenting coach and/or become a part of the conscious

Don’t look any further, Jai is the only place where you
learn how to become a better parent, a better coach, and
a better business owner. When I came to Jai I was
already coaching parents, and I saw a big need for a
parent centric approach. After going through Jai, now I
feel more confident as a coach because I have all the
tools I need to help my clients look in their inner world
and design the parenting they want to provide for their
children.

I was so excited to become a Parenting Coach with Jai
because I’m so passionate about helping parents. What I

moments during Jai where I was challenged to grow… I
have a brand new relationship with myself, my anger,

I was filmed for a UK celebrity’s reality TV show to talk
about conscious parenting... My client shared a preview
of the show on her instagram to her 2.6 million followers
and tagged my account. This was my 5 year goal – never
my 2 year goal and I am so grateful I took the leap to
doing the Jai training back in 2019 even though I had
hardly any money. The struggle was real but what makes
my heart swim is being able to work with families and
“change their lives” (their words not mine).
