2. Requirements for the brief
What are the requirements for the brief?
The requirements that the client has asked is to produce work that involves media and digital design
to showcase the work of artists, musicians and upcoming performances that the client Eighteen
promotions represent.
The outcomes for the brief should relate to the client and must include a range of different kinds of
work such as visual, audio and digital prints.
The client has suggested what they would like to see but the list is not exclusive although it should
involve a package of print and video.
The kind of work that could be done to showcase the work of artists include:
• Music video
• Showreel
• Advertising promotional work for example a poster or album cover
• You could design a website
• Or you could do a podcast
The deadline for this brief is January 2024 so what is need is a lot of time management and planning
to make sure that I hit every section of this proj and make it as detailed as possible.

• The client for the new brief ‘promo’ is a newly formed music
promoter called Eighteen Promotions who represent freelance
artists and bands, they are looking to interest audiences who ages
range from 16-25 in their latest productions to potential venues.

Who is the target audience?
The target audience for the brief ‘promo’ is 16-25 years old, so the client would like
products which are designed with a range of marketing materials that appeal to the
target audience to generate interest and ticket sales to their gigs and performances.
The kind of work that could be used to appeal to the target audience are as followed:
• Music videos
• Social media tease
• Showreels
• Album covers
• Radio interviews
• Podcasts
Although these products need to be made in a way the relate not only to what the client
expectations are, it also needs to be made in the way of the audiences' interests to help
promote.
