3. Locations
I will only need two locations for my documentary, one being the car
event and the other being the interview location. The event will be at
Newby Hall which is a stately home located in Ripon, the event is held
by an organisation called ‘Sportscars in the Park’ which is a company
that visits different places around the UK and holds car meets for
thousands of unique cars from all around the world. Newby hall is their
most popular meet location on their calendar and attracts the most cars
which is great for my documentary. Admission is £16 and I will have to
travel by car to the destination. The other location will be Ted’s Car
Valeting in Malton, this business is owned by a friend of my sister, and
he will be perfect for my interview, he valets all kinds of cars on a
weekend and works for an automotive media company called Blackball
Media as a car journalist. His workshop is a fifteen-minute drive from
my house so its easily accessible.

6. Equipment
• Computer- At college I will have access to a computer with lots of
software available to successfully edit my documentary, develop
phots and create a website, as well as also being able to complete all
my research, planning and evaluation documents on it as well.
• Camera- For recording my footage, I will be using my dads camera
that he has allowed me to use, I will be using this to record my
interview, the event and also take pictures at the event.
• Phone- My phone will be used to have my questions on for the
interview so I don’t have to remember them off the top of my head,
it will also be used as a backup for the camera if something goes
wrong.
• Tripod- The tripod will help with the interview as I don’t want shaky
footage, so the tripod will make sure the footage is still.
