2. Documentary style
As our themes are nature and future, a documentary style video would most likely combine the two as we
make a video that shows how we and other professionals believe the future will be. We could show pictures of
certain buildings in the past and present to show how far technology has already come, then try and piece
together how they could also look in the future. As we are also talking about nature, so we aim to combine
these two by also talking about how nature will be affected in the future. Here we can raise issues such as
climate change that are rapidly affecting the nature of this planet and show how the planets going to be
affected by this. Our target audience is mainly students aged 16-24 so we want to raise these issues to make
them aware of the damage we could cause to this planet as we are the next generation. For this section would
could show how a certain landscape from the past has changed to current day then possible show how it will
evolve in the future, and how it could look if climate change continues to pose a problem. The future part
could also include a section where we show off some possible pieces of technology that might be used in
everyday life.
3. Comedic style
For the comedic style we could do a similar type of video to the documentary one but instead of being serious
about it, we make it funny and more enjoyable to watch as I feel for our primary target audience of 16-24 year
olds they would rather watch something funny but also informative rather than a serious documentary. We
found out from primary research that our target audience prefer seeing a more comedic approach to an advert
rather than a more serious approach, whilst this may be better for gaining information, its not as entertaining
to watch and people may get bored a lot quicker. The way we could go about doing this is by pretending as if
we are trying to create a serious documentary but things keep going wrong, cringey jokes being made and
comedic cuts, this way, viewers are more engaged. We would still get the information across to the audience,
but in a more light hearted way. There is also the future part to think about, so for this, we could make up
some futuristic looking pieces of equipment and software that we could show off to possibly give an idea as to
what things in the future could look like. We could add comedy to this section like dropping stuff on the floor
and it breaking or pretending they don’t work.
4. Story Style
For a story styled advert, we could create a story about a time traveller coming from the future to warn us
about the effects that climate change has had on the world and how it has effected his current time. There
could be some comedy tied into this such as people in awe of his technology and surprised by how far
technology has come. Then he could talk about ways that it can be prevented, and stopped and how we can
play a part in saving the Earth, the story would follow him as he tries to convince people he is a real time
traveller and needs help to stop the almost inevitable fate that this planet is coming to. The story could end
either happy or sad, happy being, people believe the traveller and everyone helps to stop climate change, or
the man is never believed and the world continues as is, as the fate of the world continues he returns to his
time to find his world still struggling from our choices. Personally I believe the bad ending is more impactful as
it shows the consequences of our actions and how its effected others lives which will make people think about
their actions.
7. Script:

Here we can now see what a scientist believes the amazon could look like in a few years, and its not looking bright. However, there is one way we can stop this, oh look its berties

One way we can cut down on this is if we use bicycles… oh um this is a little um controversial but at least he’s saving the planet! In a way
