My main area of activity is creating an advert and branding for a social media platform.
Target Audience
16-24
Male and Female
Rationale:
I have decided to do this as my project as film making is what I want to do going forward,
so I decided I would create an advert for our brand. The other people in my group specialise
in print so it makes the most sense for me to create an advert to further advance my
premiere pro skills. Adverts are important for a brand as people would rather watch a video
about something rather than reading about it, especially the people in our target audience,
so an advert is important.
Project Concept:
Our concept for the project is to create a website that our target audience can use that
includes other student projects. For this we will create poster designs as student work that
fit our theme of nature, a mockumentary as student work that fits both our themes of future
and nature, then finally an advert for the website that gives you a short tour.
How will the project be evaluated and reviewed:
When it comes to evaluation and reflection, we will all do a self-reflection on how we feel
the project went, from research to production. We can also send our work to other
members of the class for some peer feedback and other people outside of media for their
opinions.

For this we will create poster designs as student work that fit our theme of nature, a mockumentary as student work that fits both our themes of future and nature, then finally an advert for the website that gives you a short tour. How will the project be evaluated and reviewed: When it comes to evaluation and reflection, we will all do a self-reflection on how we feel the project went, from research to production. We can also send our work to other members of the class for some peer feedback and other people outside of media for their opinions.
