What has self-care been looking like for you these days?

MH ACROSS CULTURES
Across different cultures and languages, people talk about and explore mental
health in multiple ways. In just a few words, please share: How have you experienced
the concept of "mental health" within your own cultural communities?

● It's swept under the rug in hispanic culture

● Heavy Chest
● in my throat
● i loved how she used the pills as a part of her painting
● hopeful
● Anxious during, hopeful at end
● Hopeful by the end
● overwhelming heaviness in my throat and chest
● as a person in recovery, it seems like she went through phases
of her pain and found a way to express them. I love that
● The ending is very suddenly for me
● I am very very impressed by the cinematography, and it made
all of the above feelings to come out much more

● just being present with someone when they are going through
something
● respect boundaries
● To let others know that we are there for them without prying and
let them move at their own pace
● Self-acceptance (but it is really....hard), it took me several years to
learn how to do it.

● tell people what they feel is valid. it matters and its important
