PERSONAL STATEMENT A Retail Store Manager with 13 years experience in Sales, Customer Service , Training and
Coaching , Store Operations, Merchandising and Promotions. In 2012 i achieved
recognition and success with my present company by winning their annual Manager of the
Year competition.
I am currently seeking a career change to which i could bring a positive attitude, hard work,
energy, organisation, integrity and a willingness to succeed.

Communication skills I have very good communication skills which i use daily in my current position as a retail store
manager. I brief, train and coach my team and interact fully with all our customers.
I also did a brief spell as a radio presenter between January and July 2014 for an online health and
well-being network which i enjoyed immenesly.
In 2007 i did 18 months of fundraising alongside two friends for a local charity. We raised £9000
between us. This also resulted in us trekking across a national park in South East Iceland over a six
day period.
Organisational / managerial skills I am currently responsible for a team of four people . I have previously managed a team of eight
people .
I manage and organise my time by noting my jobs on an in store computerised monthly planner.
I also keep a separate diary recording ' to do lists '.
I have been responsible for training and coaching my associates for 13 years.
I have achieved my annual sales targets regularly through this.
I am fully responsible for the daily operational running of my store.
In 1012 i went through a series of tests and interviews to win my company's Manager of the Year
annual competition.
