Over the past 5 years I have been the Retail Store Supervisor at Wembley Stadium. During which
I have developed excellent customer service skills, handling the weight of increasing
responsibility in a fast moving and high-pressure environment. Through my current employment I
have developed a good understanding of electronic point of sale. I am an enthusiastic,
hardworking and reliable worker. I am always eager to expand and enhance my skills. I am a
good communicator and work well within a team or unaided to meet deadlines. I am looking to
further my career for a respected worldwide brand.
Career to Date
Retail Store Supervisor – Wembley Stadium
September 2011 – to date
Deputising the Store Manager and taking on full responsibility while he is on annual leave
and days off. Jobs include processing casual staff time sheets ensuring they are paid on
time, structuring staff positions and responsibilities on event days.
Responsible for the store rota of 5 full time and 25 casual staff members, ensuring work
days are distributed evenly and budget targets are consistently met.
Effective management of daily team tasks, which include the tour photo experience, re-
stocking of retail store merchandise, shirt printing and manning the EPOS systems.
Analysing staff performance and assisting appraisals.
Ensuring the day to day store merchandise is stocked, correctly labelled, bar coded and
security tagged. General cleanliness of the store, reporting any repairs to facilities.
Responsible for preparing the store for all major events at the stadium, including England
national team football games, FA cup finals and NFL matches where crowds reach up to
89,000.
Weekly and monthly banking, counting cash for the store and photo experience whilst
inputting weekly totals and forwarding to Finance Department.
Liaising with tour guides on day to day running of stadium tours to provide retail support
when necessary and reporting feedback directly to the tour and retail line managers.
Process and despatch of mail and telephone orders, handling complaints when needed.
Troubleshooting malfunctions of the EPOS systems in store and photo experience sales
booth.
I have excellent experience from daily use of Microsoft Office.
Key Accomplishments
BTEC Level 3 in Customer Services.
Created a store manual giving detailed step by step instructions on till operation, stock
preparation, shirt printing and appropriate media usage.

Retail Assistant (Full time) – Wembley Stadium Store
October 2010 – September 2011
Responsible for serving customers.
Preparation of merchandise, which includes security tagging, bar coding and pricing.
Printing and sale of photographic merchandise from the photo booth.
Provided assistance to customers both in the store and by telephone.
Set up displays for new lines of merchandise within the store.
Responsible for opening and closing the store and photo booth together with ‘cashing up’
at closing time.
Key Accomplishments
Behind the scenes I have reorganised the store stock room to meet the current store
demands, which allows easier access to current stock.
Retails Sales Assistant Watford Football Club
August 2008 – August 2010
Worked on a part time basis as a sales assistant at Watford FC in their retail outlet at
the stadium on match days and during the week.
