Summary of the roles main purpose
Accountable for the day to day running of the department ensuring colleagues maintaining a great shopping
experience for our customers.
To ensure colleagues are operating in line with company policy and procedure at all times to provide a
healthy and safe environment for both customers and colleagues.
Principle Accountabilities
Ensure all daily routines and processes are completed to a high standard in order to profit maximize.
Schedule, plan and prioritise colleagues across the department to ensure maximum availability and
service levels for the customer.
Manage and deliver feedback to colleagues on an ongoing basis and at performance reviews.
Keep in contact with key people such as store manager and regional manager in order to convey key
information to colleagues at daily/weekly/monthly meetings.
Ensure all statutory and company regulations are being adhered to regarding health, fire and food safety
in order to keep customers and colleagues safe.

Specialised in strategic management and change management as well as a complete pathway of finance.
During my time at university I wrote a complete business plan that achieved a first class grade as well as
numerous business development plans for companies. All were focussed in growing sales in a tough economic
environement through avenues such as blue oceans or corporate social responsibility.
