Working Title:
Exploration: Stone Age.
Product’s Purpose:
The product is for people to explore and educate people about the Stone Age.
Genre:
Sidescroller : Mobile Game
Content
The product is about exploring the stone age world.
Specifically I will include various creatures and NPC’s, to act as mobs. There is no story to
this game, but it’s about learning in a fun way.
Audience:
My Audience is people that are 7+ because it’s the prime time to start getting interested in
something.
The gender doesn’t matter as it shouldn’t matter who can play certain games.
The social status is ranging from Lower Class up towards Middle class, because upper
class people might not appreciate the pixel style with their high expectations.
The general psychographic would be balanced because it’s easy to enjoy something
without giving too much time to looking after others.
My project would appeal to this audience because the game is a low quality pixel
Sidescroller, which is all about learning, and its never to late or to early to learn about
anything.
Research and Planning:
I will use a lot of ideas coming from ‘Terraria’ because it’s a very similar game. The art style
is pretty much the same but I will use a different colour scheme throughout.
I will use the art style throughout the game, I will also use more of a similar text style as its
all pixel made.
Legal & Ethical Considerations:
Some of it could be considered as offensive but unintentionally because I’m using primitive
characters which might include old fashioned stereotypes.
I wouldn’t restrict it to younger people but it’s not going to make sense to a 3 year old.
It might offend some people because of old fashioned stereotypes but that just stone age
stereotypes. I can’t control that.
I will try not to go overboard with the characters clothing as it could be considered
untasteful.
No all of the characters will be originally sourced by me.
The game will be similar to ‘Terraria’ but there is no way around it being similar.
