This is kind of similar to my idea as
it has a dark setting and there is a
train in this game.
I like that it looks like a simple
game but the making of it was far
from it, the creator of this game
has to make sure the train wasn’t
too big so you could see the
background, they wanted it to
look like they were in a war and
the characters were traveling away
from the city to safety, but I'm
sure this game will have
challenges.
Age range of this game is 13-20
year olds as it is a quite
challenging.
There are tanks in the background so it looks like this
city is in war, there is a police officer on the train so
maybe they are going to escape from prison or they are
from the city and they are going to safety. It says 39%
on the front of the train so maybe it is going up in
percentages so when it gets to 100% maybe the train
will blow up and the characters have to fight against
other players or other characters.

This game is has a dark setting so it looks
similar to my idea. There are two
characters dressed in the same outfit but
different colours, the creator of this game
thought that they would stand out in front
of the background as the background is
dark. There is a number 12 next to them
so maybe they have found 12 things on
the game so that might be the score of
the points.
The train looks scary and the characters look
like they are walking so it might be a game
where you explore and find things on the
train so the number 12 next to them is the
amount of coins they have found. Or the 12
might be the 12th train.
The target range is 13-20 years old as it
seems simple yet fairly in depth with the
dark tones throughout of the game.
The game looks pixelated but it is kind of
realistic as you can tell what the train looks like
and you can imagine what the train looks like
in real life.
They might of used the train in the game so
they find the way out of the underground
station to the real world then the pixel might
be better as they are in a brighter setting.

This game is simple to make as
it’s only a train that moves
around collecting the diamonds,
every time the train collects the
diamonds the train gets bigger.
The background of this game is
simple and bright, when the
train gets up to the diamond the
diamond appears into the cart
of the train. Also when the train
gets up to the trees it suddenly
is all chopped up and already in
the cart of the train.
The game looks simple to make but it probably took awhile
as you need to design a still background and also need to
put the diamonds and trees in a different layer of the game.
It kind of looks like my idea of a game but is more simple
than my game as I have more challenging aim.
The colours in this game is
bright as I'm thinking that the
target audience is for young
kinds of the age of 8-15 years
old as its bright and eye
catching. If it was to a older
audience it would be a lot less
toned colours.

have?
– The first and second existing product has a game has slide scrolling as
you need to move across the screen. They have actual characters that
look real and the colours are dark and I will be using a dark theme as
it’s a scary/ intense game.
• What aspects of the research will you include
within your on work?
– I will be using the dark theme also the slide scrolling as I am aiming to
chase ghosts across the train that’s why I used them existing products
because I am using that idea but my idea will be different to other
peoples ideas.
