• Challenge began with an empty 20K square foot building and no employees
• Set up computer system, phone system, office furniture and supplies, rack, 2 trucks, over $1M of inventory, etc.
• Opened the branch for business in three months servicing Electrical Contractors, CIG and Industrial Markets

National Accounts Manager - Pittsburgh, PA
Responsibilities included negotiating partnership agreements for electrical and industrial products with large
Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and industrial end-user customers. Organized presentations
illustrating WESCO’s capabilities in servicing multiple location customers with leading manufacturers’ products.
Provided support to the branches to maintain and grow sales by building relationships at these Nat. Accts.
Branch Manager - Lexington, KY
Successfully managed 3 markets including Industrial, Construction and Utility (including Utility territories in
Ohio and Tennessee). Responsible for managing a $15M branch with a staff of 14 employees. Duties included
establishing branch plans and budgets in addition to sales loadings and territories of 5 Outside Account
Representatives. Accepted the promotion opportunity to become a National Account Manager at WESCO
Headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Branch Manager - Dayton, OH
Presented with the opportunity to rebuild a profit detractor – $3M branch losing approximately $20K of IBT per
month. Successfully grew sales to nearly $6M with a positive IBT of $20M per month. Promoted to a much
larger branch in Lexington, KY.
Branch OEM Sales Manager - Cleveland, OH
Responsibilities included developing sales territories and identifying new markets for WESCO, improving the
skills of the inside and outside sales force and reviewing their performance. Managed the Control House and
Specialist (specializing in automation and industrial controls) in training WESCO employees and conducting
customer training seminars.
Outside Sales Executive - Cleveland, OH
Built an undeveloped sales territory of less than $50K in annual sales into one generating in excess of $1M
annually. Recipient of several WESCO sales awards given in recognition of outstanding performance.
Inside Sales Representative - Cleveland, OH/Youngstown, OH
Responsibilities included customer service and technical expertise, processing orders, expediting deliveries,
negotiating with manufacturers and working closely with the Outside Sales Representatives in managing and
servicing their territories. Recipient of the prestigious Inner Circle Award given for outstanding performance
from the Westinghouse Electric Corporation.
