My INSURER PTE LTD - Insurtech Innovation Award 2024
Photoshop Document Process
1.
2. What did I do first?
The first thing I did was improve on my photo taking
skills and therefore I went into town and took a picture
of Gallo tree gate with different focuses.
The next thing I did was because I felt it came out so
well I did not have to edit the background effect so I
left it and added it into a A4 Photoshop document.
3.
4. What I did next
I got an image of the clock tower from the internet and
added it onto the poster.
By pressing Ctrl+T I can
Edit the image to make it
Larger
5.
6. As I want to get rid of the white background and just
have the clock tower, I will be using the quick selection
tool to remove all the unwanted items from the image.
So now I have
got rid of the
unwanted
white
background I
can move it
down with the
select tool to
cut off the end
and press Ctrl
D to unselect
the pixels
already
selected.
7.
8. I decided to increase the size as I felt it was too small.
So the next thing I did was add a tagline. Obviously for
the real thing it will be neater then this.
So I select the text tool and choose the font which I
want, I have decided to go for Mrrido pro so I type
‘Making my City Safe?’
9.
10. So I will press Ctrl T to increase the size to a relevant
size.
11. Adding Effects
I have decided to add effects to the clock tower so I
need to click on the clock tower layer and go into
blending options.
12. I have decided to add an inner glow to have that glow
look, So I will select a white inner glow with the size I
think is suitable.
13.
14. Conclusion
As this was a response I did not pay much attention to
detail however when it comes to producing the actual
poster I will be using a lot more tools, working on the
colouring and blogging about the tools that I used.
Also in the final thing I will be adding credits, logos
and making the poster more cohesive to the actual
documentary.
Also I will be adjusting the brightness and the level of
curves when it comes to the final piece.
