Voice isolation
Voice isolation is an AI based advanced
noise suppression feature that eliminates
unwanted background noise including
other human voices.
The technology recognizes your voice
profile and ensures only your voice is
transmitted. Voice isolation can be
enabled for calls and meetings and will be
available starting in April.

Join meetings with a QR code on Teams
Rooms on Windows and Android
Quickly join a meeting from a Teams Room
by scanning a QR code using your mobile
device.
 You will then enter the companion mode
experience in Teams mobile.
 The QR code is found on the Teams Room
home screen and can also be scanned to
start an ad-hoc meeting or cast content
from your mobile device to the Teams
Room display.
 Admins can control the QR code feature in
the device settings and the Teams admin
center.
This feature will be available in the first half of
2024.

Automatic camera switching for IntelliFrame
 For a more inclusive hybrid meeting
experience, remote attendees will have a
better view of faces in the room than
ever before.
 In meetings with laptop cameras in the
room, in-room attendees will ensure
everyone who’s remote can see them
from any direction, even in a crowded
room.
This new feature is called automatic
camera switching for IntelliFrame and will
be available in the coming months.
Multiple camera view
With multiple camera view, remote
meeting attendees will soon have the
power to follow all the action in the
room.
Remote participants can manually toggle
between views from the room that they
want to see, when they want it, whether it’s
a colleague during a presentation, the
whiteboard during a brainstorm, or their
manager’s manager when it’s decision
time.
Ultrasound for proximity join for
Teams Rooms on Windows
 When you’re in a meeting room equipped
with Teams Room on Windows, you can
use ultrasound for proximity join to
discover and add the Teams Room to your
meeting.
 Your laptop or mobile device detects
ultrasound beacons emitted inside the
physical Teams Room, providing a more
accurate list of nearby room options on the
pre-join meeting screen.
This feature will be available later this year.

Speaker recognition and attribution
to unleash the power of Copilot
 While not all Teams Rooms have intelligent
speakers yet, starting in April, speaker
recognition capabilities for existing
microphones will be available in public
preview for Teams Rooms on Windows.
 This expansion of speaker recognition and
transcript attribution via intelligent speakers
and existing speakers will continue to grow,
extending to BYOD spaces and Teams
Rooms on Android later this year.
