2. Pictures As Nike is a well known brand to consumers, I decided to focus my advert on Nike brands. I then chose my model who was my cousin, which made it easier to conduct my photoshoot. From this, I took several pictures, mostly full shots, with one close up of the Nike trainers. Chosen picture I decided to use a Nike jacket and Nike trainers. I took a full shot of him minimising his head, so then we just focus on the brand items.
3. Before & After After, I chose my image which I wanted to use, I then opened up Adobe Photoshop to edit my image. I opened up my chosen image and click on File > New > Blank Document > A4 and copied the image and pasted it on the white document. After pasting it, I resize the image By holding down on the ‘shift’ button, so then the image doesn’t distort. I then duplicated ‘Layer 1’ and used the ‘Magnetic Lasso Tool’ to go over the model. Then I went on Select > Inverse > Delete (On Layer 1 Copy) > Delete (Layer 1)
4. I then used the ‘Clone Tool’ to fill in the gap on the model’s jeans, to clean it up a bit. I also used ‘Magnetic Lasso Tool’ to remove the white space which I didn’t need. I clicked on Select > Inverse > Delete (Layer 1 Copy) > Delete (Layer 1)
5. Afterwards, I used the website ‘Google’ to find the image of the ‘Swoosh’ tick and the ‘Just Do It’ slogan. Once I had found them, I copied and pasted them on Microsoft Word. On Microsoft Word, I was able to crop the image so then it will cut into two separate images. After doing this, I copied the ‘Swoosh’ tick on Adobe Photoshop on a separate layer. I then ticked the tick button on the top toolbar to make sure that the image doesn’t distort. I was able to resize the image if needed by making sure that I hold onto the ‘shift’ key. I was able to take away the black background, by clicking on Filter > Adjustments > Inverse, which will delete the background. I also did the same to the slogan.
6. However, when pasting the slogan, I overcame a problem. There was a black box around the slogan, to delete this, I used the ‘Magnetic Lasso Tool.’ I deleted by selecting on Select > Inverse > Delete (Layer 1 Copy) > Delete (Layer 1). Then I moved the slogan and the tick on the bottom right third of the page, with the slogan above the tick to make it look more professional and appealing to look at.
