Description of Paradise

2. • Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Messenger of
Allah said: “When Allah created Paradise, saying,
‘look’ at it and at what I have prepared therein for
its inhabitants.”
• So Gabriel went to it and looked at it and at what
Allah had prepared therein for its inhabitants.
• Then Gabriel returned to Allah and said, By Your
Glory, no one hears of it without entering it.

3. • So Allah ordered that it be encompassed by
formed of hardship, and He said, “Return to it
and look at what I have prepared therein for
its inhabitants.”
• So Gabriel returns to it and found that it was
encompassed by form of hardship.
• Then he return to Allah and said, ‘By your
Glory, I fear that no one will enter it.

4. • Allah said, ‘Go to Hellfire and look at it and at
what I have prepared therein for its
inhabitants.’
• Gabriel found that it was in layers, one above
the other. Then Gabriel returned to Allah and
said, by your glory, no one who hears of it
will enter it.’

6. • GARDEN AND GARMENTS OF SILK
• Quran 76:12 And because they were patient
and constant He will reward them with a
Garden and (garments of) silk.
• IN PARADISE THERE IS NO SUN AND NO MOON
• 76:13 Reclining in the (Garden) on raised
thrones they will see there neither the sun's
(excessive heat) nor (the moon's) excessive
cold.

7. • BUNCHES OF FRUITS THERE WILL HANG LOW
• Quran 76:14 And the shades of the (Garden) will
come low over them and bunches (of fruit) there
will hang low in humility.
• CRYSTAL-CLEAR MADE OF SILVER
• 76:15 And amongst them will be passed round
vessels of silver and cups of crystal.
• 76:16 Crystal-clear made of silver: they will
determine the measure thereof (according to
their wishes).

8. • CUP OF WINE MIXED WITH ZANJABIL
• Quran 76:17 And they will be given to drink there of a Cup
(of Wine) mixed with Zanjabil.
• 76:18 A Fountain there called Salsabil.
• EVERLASTING YOUTH
• 76:19 And round about them youths of everlasting youth,
whom, when thou sees, thou wouldst take for scattered
pearls.
• 76:20 And when you look there (in Paradise) you will see a
delight (that cannot be imagine) and a great dominion.

9. • GREEN GARMENTS OF FINE SILK / SILVER OF
BRACELETS
• Quran 76:21 Upon them will be green
Garments of fine silk and heavy brocade and
they will be adorned with Bracelets of silver;
• WINE PURE AND HOLY
• And their Lord will give to them to drink of a
Wine Pure and Holy.
• A REWARD FOR YOU
• 76:22 “Verily this is a Reward for you and
your Endeavor is accepted and recognized."

10. • THRONES WOVEN WITH GOLD
• Quran 56:15 (They will be) on Thrones woven
(with gold and precious stones).
• 56:16 Reclining therein face to face.
• 56:17 Immortal boys will go around them
(serving)
• 56:18 With cups and jugs, and a glass of
flowing wine.

13. • NO EVIL VAIN TALK
• 56:25

• 56:27

14. • Quran 56:28 (They will be) among lote trees
without thorns.
• 56:29 Among Talh (banana trees) with fruits
piled one above another.
• 56:30 In shade long-extended.
• 56:31 By water flowing constantly.
• 56:32 And fruit in abundance.
• 56:33 Whose season is not limited nor (supply)
forbidden.

16. • RIVERS OF WATER, MILK, WINE &
HONEY
• Quran 47:15 (Here is) a Parable of the Garden
which the righteous are promised:
• in it are rivers of water the taste and smell of
which are not changed,
• rivers of milk of which the taste never
changes;
• rivers of wine delicious to those who drink;
• and rivers of honey pure and clear.
• In it there are for them all kinds of fruits and
Grace from their Lord.

17. • THE GATES OF PARADISE THERE OF
IS OPEN
• Quran 39:73 And those who kept their duty to
their Lord will be led to Paradise in groups, till,
when they reach it, and its gates will be
opened (before their arrival for their
reception)
• And its keepers will say: Asalamu 'Alaikum
(peace be upon you)! You have done well, so
enter here to abide therein.

18. • ALLAH WHO HAS TRULY FULFILLED HIS
PROMISE
• Al-Zumar 39:74 They will say: "Praise be to
Allah Who has truly fulfilled His promise to
us and has given us (this) land in heritage:
• We can dwell in the Garden as we will: how
excellent a reward for those who work
(righteousness)!

19. • THE ANGELS SURROUNDING THE THRONE
(DIVINE) ON ALL SIDES SINGING
• Quran 39:75 And thou wilt see the angels
surrounding the Throne (Divine) on all sides
singing Glory and Praise to their Lord.
• The Decision between them (at Judgment) will
be in (perfect) justice.
• And the cry (on all sides) will be "Praise is to
Allah the Lord of the Worlds!"

20. • Quran 38:50 GARDENS OF ETERNITY WHO’S
DOORS WILL BE OPEN TO THEM
• 38:51 Therein will they recline (at ease); therein
can they call (at pleasure) for fruit in abundance
and (delicious to) drink.
• COMPANIONS OF EQUAL AGE
• 38:52 And beside them will be chaste women
restraining their glances (companions) of equal
age.
• 38:53 Such is the promise made to you for the
Day of Account!

21. • Quran 13:23 Gardens of perpetual bliss: they shall
enter there as well as the righteous among their
fathers their spouses and their offspring:
• And angels shall enter unto them from every gate
(with the salutation):
• 13:24. "Salamun 'Alaikum (peace be upon you) for
that you persevered in patience! Excellent indeed is
the final home!"

22. • THEIR SPOUSES WILL BE IN COOL SHADE
• Quran 36:55 Verily, the dwellers of the Paradise,
that Day, will be busy in joyful things.
• 36:56 They and their wives will be in pleasant
shade, reclining on thrones.
• 36:57 They will have therein fruits (of all kinds)
and all that they ask for.
• 36:58 (It will be said to them): Salamun (peace
be on you), a Word from the Lord (Allah), Most
Merciful.

24. • AND BESIDE THEM WILL BE CHASTE
WOMEN
• Quran 37:48 And beside them will be chaste
women; restraining their glances with lovely
eyes (of wonder and beauty).
• 37:49 As if they were (delicate) eggs closely
guarded.

25. • THEIR FACES AS BRIGHT AS A FULL MOON
DURING THE NIGHT
• Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Prophet (sas)
said: “The (members of the) first group that will
be admitted to Paradise will have their faces as
bright as a full moon during the night.
• UTENSILS AND THEIR COMBS MADE OF GOLD
AND SILVER
• They will have their utensils and their combs
made of gold and silver, and the fuel of their
braziers will be aloes. [Related by Muslim]

26. • AND THEIR SWEAT WILL BE MUSK
• And everyone of them will have two spouses
[so beautiful] that the marrow of their
shanks will be visible through the flesh.
• Their will be no dissension among them and
no enmity in their hearts.
• Their hearts will be like one heart, glorifying
Allah morning and evening. [Related by Muslim]

27. • ALLÂH SAVED THEM FROM THE EVIL OF THAT DAY
• Quran 76:11 So Allâh saved them from the evil of that Day,
and gave them Nadratan (a light of beauty) and joy.
• BECAUSE THEY WERE PATIENT
• 76:12 And their recompense shall be Paradise, and silken
garments, because they were patient.
• IN PARADISE THERE IS NO SUN AND NO MOON
• 76:13 Reclining therein on raised thrones, they will see there
neither the excessive heat of the sun, nor the excessive
bitter cold, (as in Paradise there is no sun and no moon).

28. • IN PARADISE THERE IS A MARKET
• The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: Verily, in
Paradise there is a market to which the people will
come to every Friday.
• A Northerly breeze will scatter fragrances on their
faces and garments which will cause their beauty
and attractiveness to increase.
• Then they will return to their families having
increased in beauty and attractiveness, and their
families will say to them: "We swear by Allah, you
have increased in beauty and loveliness,"
• And they will reply: "By Allah, you too have
increased in beauty and loveliness." (Muslim)
