4. Quran 5:90 O you who believe!
Intoxicants (all kinds of alcoholic
drinks), gambling, AlAnsâb , and Al-
Azlâm (arrows for seeking luck or
decision) are an abomination of
Shaitân's handiwork.
So avoid (strictly all) that
(abomination) in order that you may
be successful .

EXCITE ENMITY

6. • Quran 5:91 Satan's plan is (but) to
excite enmity and hatred between
you with intoxicants and gambling.
• And hinder you from the
remembrance of Allah and from
prayer: will you not then abstain?
• Quran 5:92 Obey Allah and obey the
Messenger and beware (of evil).

7. Narrated Ibn. Umar (raa) Allah's
Apostle said, "Whoever drinks
alcoholic drinks in the world
and does not repent (before
dying), will be deprived of it in
the Hereafter." [S. A. V.7 H. NO. 481]

8. CUPS OF WINE AND MILK WERE
PRESENTED TO PRO. MUHAMAD

Narrated Abu Huraira (raa) On
the night Allah's Apostle was
taken on a night journey
(Miraj) two cups, one
containing wine and the other
milk, were presented to him at
Jerusalem.

9. CUPS OF WINE @ MILK WERE PRESENTED
TO PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW)
• He looked at it and took the cup of
milk.
• Gabriel said, "Praise be to Allah Who
guided you to Al-Fitra (the right path);
if you had taken (the cup of) wine,
your nation would have gone astray."

10. AMONG THE SIGNS OF THE HOUR
• Narrated by Anas (raa) I heard from
Allah's Apostle said, "From among
the portents of the hour are the
following:
• General ignorance (in religious
affairs) will prevail,
• (Religious) knowledge will decrease,

Alcoholic drinks will be drunk (in
abundance),
Men will decrease and women
will increase so much so that for
every fifty women there will be
one man to look after them." [S. A.

Prophet said, An adulterer, at
the time he is committing
illegal sexual intercourse is
not a believer; …
• And a person, at the time of
drinking an alcoholic drink is
not a believer; …

13. AND A THIEF AND HE WHO ROBS
And a thief, at the time of
stealing, is not a believer.
And he who robs (takes illegally
something by force) while the
people are looking at him, is not
a believer at the time he is

21. • Quran 5:90 O you who believe! Intoxicants
and gambling (dedication of) stones and
(divination by) arrows are an abomination
of Satan's handiwork: avoid such
(abomination) that you may prosper.
• Quran 5:91 Satan's plan is (but) to excite

intoxicants and gambling and hinder you

22. Quran 5:3 Forbidden to you (for
food) are: Al-Maytatah (the dead
animals - cattle-beast not
slaughtered), blood, the flesh of
swine (pig) , and the meat of that
which has been slaughtered as a
sacrifice for others than Allâh, or
has been slaughtered for idols,
etc.,
SWINE AND BLOOD ARE FORBIDDEN
IN ISLAM, JEW AND CHRISTIANITY

23. • The swine presents the greatest
hazard and partly because its use is
so wide spread.
• In scientific research reveal that in
addition to CHOLESTEROL found in
pork.
• It also contains a number of TOXINS
and CONTAMINANTS which are
associated with human poisoning.

24. NOTORIOUS FOR WORM INFESTATION
SUCH AS:
• Trichinella spiralis, taenia solium
(pork tape worm), and pathogenic
disease causing organisms such a
salmonella.
• Trichinosis is probably the most
wide spread parasitic infestation.

25. When man eats infested SWINE FLESH, the
LARVAE of the TRICHINA WORM are turned
loose in his intestine.
From there they burrow into the intestinal
wall, enter the Lymph Spaces and the
Blood Stream, and finally end up in the
SKELETAL MUSCLES.
Each female worm produces as many as
1,500 living larvae.
Once a person is infected, these Worms
may live on his muscles for years!

COMMON THROUGHOUT PIG
POPULATIONS WORLDWIDE
• If transmission does cause human
influenza, it is called zoonotic swine
flu.
• People with regular exposure to
pigs are at increased risk of swine
flu infection.

30. HISTORY OF SWINE INFLUENZA
• Swine influenza was first proposed
to be a disease related to human
influenza during the 1918 flu
pandemic, when pigs became sick at
the same time as humans.
• The first identification of an
influenza virus as a cause of disease
in pigs occurred about ten years
later, in 1930.

31. For the following 60 years, swine
influenza strains were almost
exclusively H1N1.
Then, between 1997 and 2002, new
strains of three different subtypes
and five different genotypes emerged
as causes of influenza among pigs in
North America.

32. • The H1N1 form of swine flu is
one of the descendants of the
strain that caused the 1918 flu
pandemic

anywhere from 50 to
million people were
killed worldwide.

33. As well as persisting in pigs, the
descendants of the 1918 virus
have also circulated in humans
through the 20th century,
contributing to the normal
seasonal epidemics of influenza.

34. 1998 US OUTBREAK IN SWINE
IN 1998, SWINE FLU WAS FOUND IN PIGS
IN FOUR U.S. STATES
• Within a year, it had spread through
big populations across the United
States.
Scientists found that this
virus had originated in pigs
as a recombinant form of
flu strains from birds and
humans.

35. This outbreak confirmed that pigs
can serve as a crucible where
novel influenza viruses emerge as
a result of the reassortment of
genes from different strains.
Genetic components of these
1998 triple-hybrid stains would
later form six out of the eight
viral gene segment in the 2009 flu
outbreak.

36. 2007 PHILIPPINE OUTBREAK IN
SWINE
• On August 20,2007 Department of
Agriculture officers investigated the
outbreak (epizootic) of swine flu in
Nueva Ecija and Central Luzon
The mortality rate is less
than 10% for swine flu,
unless there are
complications like hog
cholera

37. On July 27,2007, the Philippine
National Meat Inspection Service
(NMIS) raised a hog cholera "red
alert" warning over Metro Manila and
5 regions of Luzon after the disease
spread to backyard pig farms in
Bulacan and Pampanga, even if these
tested negative for the swine flu
virus.

38. • In late April, Margaret Chan, the
World Health Organization's
director-general, declared a "public
health emergency of international
concern" under the rules of the
WHO's new International Health
Regulations when the first cases of
the H1N1 virus were reported in the
United States.
Following the outbreak, on May
2, 2009, it was reported in pigs
at a farm in Alberta, Canada,
with a link to the outbreak in
Mexico

39. The pigs are suspected to have
caught this new strain of virus from a
farm worker who recently returned
from Mexico, then showed symptoms
of an influenza-like illness.
“in the US it appears that for every 1000
people who get infected, about 40 people
need admission to hospital and about one
person dies.“
There are fears that swine flu will
become a major global pandemic at the
end of the year (coinciding with the
Northern Hemisphere winter months),
with many countries planning major
vaccination campaigns.

IN HUMANS:
• Direct transmission of a
swine flu virus from pigs to
humans is occasionally
possible (called zoonotic

41. PREVENTION OF PIG TO HUMAN
TRANSMISSION
• The transmission from swine to
human is believed to occur mainly in
swine farms where farmers are in
close contact with live pigs.
• Although strains of swine influenza
are usually not able to infect
humans this may occasionally
happen, so farmers and
veterinarians are encouraged to use
a face mask when dealing with
infected animals.

42. The use of vaccines on swine to
prevent their infection is a major
method of limiting swine to
human transmission.
Include smoking and not wearing
gloves when working with sick
animals.

43. PREVENTION OF HUMAN TO
HUMAN TRANSMISSION
• Influenza spreads between
humans through coughing or
sneezing and people touching
something with the virus on it
and then touching their own
nose or mouth.

44. This includes frequent washing
of hands with soap and water or
with alcohol-based hand
sanitizers especially after being
out in public.
Chance of transmission is also
reduced by disinfecting
household surfaces, which can
be done effectively with a diluted
chlorine bleach solution.

45. Influenza can spread in coughs
or sneezes, but an increasing
body of evidence shows small
droplets containing the virus can
linger on tabletops, telephones
and other surfaces and be
transferred via the fingers to the
mouth, nose or eyes.

he doesn’t want to eat swine and
blood like Moses and other Prophets
of God.
