8And the Companions of the Right; who are the Companions of the Right?
9And the Companions of the Left; who are the Companions of the Left?
10And the foremost will be the foremost.
11The foremost are those brought close.
12And the foremost are in the Garden of Bliss [Naim].
13,14Many of them from among those ancients while a few of them from among
the last generations. 24They sit upon 15thrones ornamented with gems as a reward for
what they did. 16They recline on them, facing each other. 17-23Around them are
pitchers, ewers, chalices filled at the springs – that which they contain does not cause
headache [hangover] nor intoxicate -, fruits they desire, meat of fowl they crave;
never-growing children, and the ones with large eyes that resemble hidden pearls. 25
They do not hear any inane remarks, nonsense and the things causing them to sin
there. 26 Only a word: “Salam [health, peace, happiness], salam [health, peace,
happiness], salam [health, peace, happiness]!”.
27-34And the Companions of the Right; who are the Companions of the Right?
They are surrounded by thorne-free lote trees, banana/acacia trees lined with fruits,
extended shadows, gushing water, many fruits that do not end, deplete and are not
forbidden and raised mattresses.
35Surely, We created the lote trees, banana trees, shadows, gushing water with
such a creation. 36-38Then, We made them attractive and untouched and at the same
size and form for the Companions of the Right.
39,40A community, many of them from among the ancients. And another
community from among the last generations.
41And the Companions of the Left; who are the Companions of the Left?
42-48They are in a fire that penetrates into them and boiling water, they are in a
shadow of pitch black smoke which is neither cool nor pleasant. Surely, the
Companions of the Left are those who have indulged in wealth and joy before this.
And the great sin; associating others with Allah they insisted. And they said: “Shall

we be resurrected after we die and turn to a pile of soil and bones? And our ancestors
shall as well?”.

49,50Say: “Surely, the ancients and the last generations will be gathered on a
certain part of the known day at the gathering area. 51Then, indeed you perverts, you
deniers! 52You will eat from the Zaqqum Tree 53so that your stomachs will fill with
it. 54Then, you will drink boiling water. 55And you will drink like camels thirsty to
death”. – 56This is their feat on the Day of Religion –
57We created you; should not you verify this? 58So, have you ever thought
about what you emit [semen, ovary]? 59Do you create it or We do?
60,61We cast death among you. And We are not to be outdone/prevented in
replacing you with your likenesses and create you from what you do not know.
62And surely, you have learned, you know about the first creation. Then, should
you not think about it and take the admonition?
63And, have you ever thought about what you sow?
64Do you make it grow or We do?
65-67Had We wished, We would certainly have turned it into a dry branch so
you would have marvelled and said: “Surely, we are under such a burden! Or more
accurately, we are such people who are deprived of all their belongings, we are
bereft!”: 68Then, have you ever thought about the water you drink?
69Do you make it rain or We do?
70Had We wished, We would have made it salty. Then, should you not repay
for it?
71And, have you ever thought about the wood/oxygen you burn?
72Do you create the wood of the fire/oxygen or We do?
73We created the fire/oxygen as a lesson/reminder and as a comfort item for the
travelers in the desert.
74Then, purify/exonerate name of your glorious Rabb [the Lord, the Cherisher,
the Nurturer, the Sustainer] from all deficiencies/teach how exonerated is He from
any deficiencies!

75Not anymore. I hereby adduce divisions/times and locations of each Ayah
sent down with each revelation that – 76and it is a substantial evidence if you are
aware of this – 77surely it is the noble Qur’an. 78It is a protected/maintained
Scripture. 79No other but those who are spiritually purified may touch it. 80It is sent
down by Rabb [the Lord, the Cherisher, the Nurturer, the Sustainer] of all universes.
81Now, do you despise this Word/the Qur’an?
82And do you make your living by denying/refusing the provisions given?

83-85Yet when the soul comes to the throat, only then, you wait next to it, We,
on the other hand, are closer to it than you are. But you just cannot see.
86,87Then, if you are not to be punished, and if you are those rightful, should
you not turn that soul that reaches to the throat back?
88,89But if he is one of those who have been brought close, then comfort,
provisions with pleasant smell and abundant blessings are for him.
90,91And if he is one of the Companions of the Right; then peaces be upon you
from the Companions of the Right!
92-94But if he is one of the Companions of the Left; then a feast of boiling water
will he get! And be thrown into Jahannah [Hell]!
95Surely, what We convey is the certain information, the truth.
96Then, exonerate the name of your Great Rabb [the Lord, the Cherisher, the
Nurturer, the Sustainer]/teach that He is exonerated from all deficiencies’!
