The student created a DVD cover for their horror film project using Photoshop. They researched scary images of mystery men and selected one to represent the unknown main character. Fonts were found on DaFont to style the title and names. The cover features the centered title, the student's name as creator, and actor names at the top to promote who is in the film. A tagline was added to attract audiences. For future projects, the student aims to improve Photoshop skills and include more images and film scenes on the cover and back to further promote the story. They also plan to take their own actor photos instead of using online images.

2. Process
• I used the Photoshop because the Photoshop can creating
a poster, cover and everything else. I started set up with
International Paper.
• I researched some images for mystery guy with hoodies
because I like those images, they look more scary. This is
linked to my horror film. My main character will be dressed
like this.
• I picked one image of a perfect mystery guy with darkness
covering his face because my character is unknown who
they is and I put it on my DVD in the front cover.
• I added title and actor names on the poster. So, I
researched the Google called DaFont because there has a
lots of different shaped fonts like horror, comedy, arts and
funny. I chose two same shaped words and downloaded it
to my file. One style font that I used the horror font and
other font is normal.
• I put my title on Centre of cover because I noticed the
posters always have to centre of the poster. Also my name
on it too because to show that I created it and it is my own
film.
• I put my actors’ names on top of cover because I want to
show who is in my film.
• Also I added a tag line for bit tell you about my film like
because that will give my audience interested and
attracted to watch my film.

3. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you include in your
final product?
• I like my DVD cover bit more attractive to make people want to watch my film.
• I put DVD cover in Photoshop for I made it look more scary and creepy. I will adding some more
images and words, pictures of characters and scenes from the film.
• I getting improved it but I need more learning it because I want to more professionally like everything
tools in the Photoshop. If I didn’t learning enough I will be ruining or failing my poster and cover. I
only feel 50% confident with how I could use the possibilities of Photoshop.
• After the Photoshop I want to makes other DVD cover on the back because for the show some
images what they doing in my film like slightly telling about how did I making it and what happened
in my film. But I used my own words to create it and not copy from others words because they are
copyright.
• The DaFonts are Important because there have lots of different fonts. In the future I will definitely
use the DaFont because if I didn’t normal fonts might look boring and not interesting. If I used the
DaFont. That why I want DaFont for creating my title, tag lines, sub-heading and actor’s names.
• In the future, if I will creating new film, I will not copy a image from Google because I would like to
take my own photography of my actor who is murderer, stalker, ghost or demon and if I copy the
image from Google that is not my actor and its from someone else… I want my actor to show who is
really in their character.
