HR Manager and Operations Supervisor - (March 1993-August 2012)
• Personnel Manager of 204 staff members - Soldiers, Civilians; Managed an upper level HR unit
with 5000 Soldiers; oversaw 7 subordinate level HR unit shops for 24 months; increased unit
efficiency and staffing by 85%.
• Managed various human resource plans and procedures ensuring consistent implementation of
established regulatory policy and compliance
• Worked with Division Level HR Directors and assigned management team members to develop
and deploy all aspects of effective workforce planning, talent and strategic pipeline requirements,

needs simultaneously.
• Collaborated on and deployed programs i.e. MS SharePoint, MS Net Meeting etc. to facilitate and

• Facilitated annual human resources processes in coordination with Unit leaders/ managers
including performance evaluation management, accounting for 100% of all Managers, Team

and acquired talent/succession training; Planned and scheduled compensation and promotions.
• Provided day to day performance and management support/ guidance to subordinate and Senior
managers; trained personnel on effective communication, workplace violence prevention, crisis

prevention, and required annual training on employee law and human resource relations.
• Identified and analyzed employee relations/matters and recommended appropriate
employment actions to higher headquarters and Senior Management in order to maintain a

managed reprisal prevention program for whistleblowers; maintained an open door policy for all
levels of complaints, necessary training and counseling

improvement to Senior staff and subordinates.
• Supported management in the training and induction of new personnel to the unit and conducted
orientation, drug testing and issued performance expectations
• Conducted exit interviews and surveys; analyzed exit data, and produced summary reports and
trending analysis to prevent redundant issues Coordinated updates and conducted audits with
100% accuracy of all HR management system and Hard Copy files thus ensuring 100%
data accuracy of all employee personnel, required annual training and payroll records.
