• Develop, implement and manage the recruiting, talent management, and policy strategies for the
organization, including: recruiting and retention, compensation, employee relations, and succession

• Streamline and evaluate various aspects of HR processes to ensure best practices are implemented

• Manage recruitment efforts for both exempt and nonexempt positions through posting available
positions, sourcing candidates, conducting phone screenings, interviews, reference checks and
background screenings.
• Coordinate employee transfers or promotions into open positions, working with managers to ensure
smooth transitions, HRIS and metrics.
• Perform compensation analysis annually for existing employees to assess salary comparability to
market, determine compensation package for new hires and participate in salary surveys.
• Conduct exit interviews; provide feedback to leadership on key themes while maintaining the
confidentiality of employees.
• Regularly participate in strategic planning and department meetings to align HR initiative with
operational objectives which includes presenting to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Review all termination requests submitted to determine if termination is justified and verify that
procedures have been followed and documented.
• Coach and advise employees on problem resolution; help them identify solutions and encourage
them to constructively resolve conflicts.
• Support managers in employee discipline actions; provide advice and counsel on verbal
conversations and written documentation to ensure feedback and expectations are clearly
communicated and understood by both manager and employee.
• Actively coach managers on how to address employee relations issues, provide timely and effective
