I have two memory sticks that
have plenty of storage so I can
save things to both of these, as

save things to there and access
them anywhere

planning because it would take
longer if I lost all the work which
then affects every other task in

This ties into the storage,
because I can save my work to
different areas so if one went
wrong I have anothercopy, and
when I use one drive I can turn
on auto save the work I do will
always be saving

PANDEMIC So the COVID pandemic probably
has one of the biggestimpactson
this project which affects all
areas. Starting with organisation,
for example due to COVID we
have to workfrom home and this
could cause a lot of distractions
whichthen affectsthe amount of
time left for certain tasks. It also
affects the production on many
levels the first being access to
software,because Iwon’tbe able
to get the same software as if I
was at college which is going to
affect production time because I
am going to have to learn about
The first solution to the
distractionsisforme tocreate a
schedule to follow which we
have anyway so this allows me
to set times aside to work, and
that allows me to get my work
done with free time left. In
terms of distractions I make
sure to keep my phone away or
turn off the TV etc to allow me
tofocus.Regardingthe software
I have downloaded a few
programmes that I am familiar
with if we don’t manage to get
back to college the only thing I
don’t have is something similar

be done it is their
responsibility to get
them done in time,
hopefully people
manage to get them
done before I start

2. the software I use. The pandemic
also affects my project because I
plan on interviewing people but I
won’tbe able todothisifwe can’t

to travel anywhere to film
to Adobe After Effects which is
whatI needsoI will have tofind
something like this. In terms of
the interviews I plan on getting
people to film their own
interviewsliketalkingheadsand
puttingthemall togetherwhich
means I can get interviews
without having to go and film.
And for the travelling I don’t
need to go anywhere in
particular as I can film what is
around me
WEATHER So a lot of my existing products
have had shots outside alongside
the interviews, I like this because
it doesn’t feel so confined as we
get a bit of the inside as well as
thee outside. I want to do some
‘filler shots’ of women doing
everyday tasks and some of this
will be outside andI want it to be
sunnierweatherbecause Ithinkit
sets a happier tone for the video
I can’t do much about the
weather however closer to
productionIwill be checkingthe
weather to see if I can get a
goodday to go outand filmasit
shouldn’ttake toolong,and get
everything I need the good
weather for on that day

CAST/CREW Due to COVID I don’t plan on
having anyone as the crew
because Ican manage onmy own
howeverthere isa risk of me and
the interviewees getting
coronavirus which would stop
production all together because
we would be ill
In the unfortunate case any of
the interviewees get
coronavirus I can always find
other people to do it, if I get
coronavirus I would have to get
someone elsetogoout andfilm
the fillershotsbutIcoulddothe
pre-production,and maybe get
as much footage as possible
before the handing in date for
the project because then I have
a while to put it together
Everyone involved is
responsible for their
own safety, however
it is my responsibility
to figure something
else out
INTERVIEWEES Anotherissue Imightface for the
interviewees is them backing out
last minute because this could
alter the whole structure of the
piece especially if they back out
last minute.
To solve this I can ask other
people to step in if needed and
give them a warning, however
once people have agreedIhope
they don’t want to back out
