HR Supervisor (MEAIP) – June’ 2015 to June’ 2016
Lead and managed a team of 8 direct reports. As a skilled individual, this role is hands-on and
reported directly to the VP – Human Resources.
• Responsible for HR Business Partnering (UAE), HR functions including HRIS system
(HCM), Time- keeping (Kronos), Benefits (Insurance, leave and other employee rewards)
Separations (resignations/ terminations/ exit interviews), Mergers & Acquisitions,
Onboarding/ off boarding, and Documentation.
• Represent HR in various internal audits and surveys.
• Addressing employee grievances.
• Supervise the implementation of salary admin/ review, allowances, deductions, merit
and promotional increments (ensuring eligibility), Benefits in Kind for expats,
authorization and adherence to company policy and procedure.
• Negotiating and finalizing insurance policies. Supervise the procedure of issuing the
health insurance cards and life insurance for all NOV employees, claims, cancellation of
life insurance, health insurance cards, replacing lost card or upgrading card etc. Due to
the requirements of the law and to provide better medical benefits to the employees the
medical insurance was moved to local network provider which directly impacted on
higher savings.

2. • Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports required by Management on activities
related to Human Capital Division.
• Conducting exit interviews and providing analysis of reasons behind employee’s turnover
in order to reduce turnover. Ensure alignment of exit formalities in line with the UAE
JAFZA laws and company policies are adequately adopted.
HR Officer (MEAIP) – May’ 2012 to June’ 2015
Lead a team of 2 direct reports
• Kronos implementation in KSA, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt, Yemen, Algeria, Angola,
South Africa, Kenya & India (a total of 21 locations).
• Handled the mergers and acquisitions (on the HR side) for Robert & Meyers, Amaron, XL
Systems, STSA (Singapore), ALGOA (Angola & South Africa) and Wilson (South Africa).
This involved comparing benefits and standardizing the salary in line with the local law
and NOV policy.
• Training and advising the employees of NOV on policies & procedures/ guidelines for
smooth transition.
• Implementing the online leave system.
• System clean-up for registered network users (saving a cost of approximately half a
million dirhams annually).
HR Assistant – March’ 2011 to April’ 2012
• Besides the below detailed job responsibilities, I successfully implemented Kronos in Abu
Dhabi.
• Coordinating with collection insurance quotations, preparing quotation comparison and
providing the Management with the details of the shortlisted network providers.

My role was made permanent and I was responsible for the below detailed job responsibilities.
Additionally I was taking care of Kronos (time keeping method) which was implemented in the Dubai
during this period as a pilot project.
