3. RESEARCH & PLANNING
My research was very thorough but I had to change my
filming location from both my planned location and my
backup location. Luckily I had a backup location ready
and it didn’t cause too much of an issue. Despite this, I
do wish I had had more than one backup plan ready so I
didn’t feel rushed. What I failed to plan was, the
availability of my Actress which slightly hindered my
production. If I were to redo this project I would have
planned for more things going wrong. This would have
given me more time to both film and edit.

4. TIME MANAGEMENT
I created a Gantt chart to manage my time well. I think it
was successful and proved helpful. When my Actress
cancelled on me, I easily got back on track by looking at
my Gantt chart and taking away the time I had lost from
the overall plan. If I had more time I would have done a
more detailed Gantt chart with more refined categories
than the ones I included.

5. TECHNICAL QUALITIES -
CAMERA
I took influence from a few music videos with my final
product. Firstly, in Green Light by Lorde it starts with a
close up of the actress. I included this in my project
but juxtaposed her use of low-key lighting with high-
key lighting in my project.

6. TECHNICAL QUALITIES –
EDITING/POST
I found it quite difficult to edit and came across a few problems
which I overcame in the end. Firstly there were infrequent black gaps
in my project where I didn’t want them to be. I fixed this by re-
uploading the video files on to Premier Pro and editing them
together again. As well as this, there was a pause in the audio track
that I used. To combat this I had to re-upload the sound and paired
it with video once I had uploaded it.

7. AESTHETIC QUALITIES

face.

8. AUDIENCE APPEAL
I think the age range my project would appeal to the most would
be teenagers. Exploring heart break is a big thing for young people
and the message of loving yourself when others don’t is very
important for a younger generation to understand.
