2. • I have studied level 2 creative media production and level 3 creative media production at York College. I
made many different things such as my own music videos, posters and even creating my own clothes for my
FMP and to advertise it I did a front cover for a magazine and a trailer video for it. I learnt many skills using
the apps photoshop and premiere pro such as editing photos and transitions for videos. I chose to do the
clothing brand and advertise it for my FMP as I want to study marketing at University. I am currently studying
Level 3 creative media at York College. This course has helped me figure out what kind of career path I want
to go down and identify what I'm good at. I made a music video, a video game, posters and film magazines, a
ghost story and for my FMP which I chose myself my own clothing brand and a trailer. When I've been at
York College, I have learnt many different things, such as knowing how to use a camera in a more
professional use. I have learnt how to use the apps premiere pro and photoshop and how to edit videos and
photographs in different ways. This will come to use further down the line as when marketing you need to
know how to attract your audience within the way you advertise and edit the product you are selling. n the
future I want to get a career within the marketing industry as a social media manager or a marketing
specialist. At this moment in time, I don’t have a specific job I want, I just want a job within marketing. To get
the career I want to study marketing or the courses I have included in the slides above which also include an
option to study abroad which is something I really want to do. Outside college I have a part time job at
JD sports, and I also sometimes help out at the pub I use to work at before JD. This will help me develop
people skills and able to sell products to customers. I want to go to University as ill get a degree at the end of
it and it will help me be more employable and I also will gain more experience when I study abroad for a
year. It will help me achieve a more professional portfolio. I am passionate about marketing and things I am
working on, so I think this makes me a good candidate.
