This document is a treatment form for a factual production project about drum and bass music. The project will be a fanzine detailing the history and timeline of drum and bass, including interviews with DJs. The purpose is to help more people learn about the genre, including those who may not typically listen to it. The intended audience is people over 18 who enjoy raves and drum and bass music. Sources will include the author's own photos from raves and an interview with an aspiring DJ. The fanzine will include sections on the history and timeline of drum and bass, photos from raves, an interview with the DJ, top songs and artists, and the evolution of the genre. Summary of topic
My topic is about drum and bass and all the top
artists and songs throughout the years. I will
also be doing a timeline for it and including
interviews with DJs etc.
Why this topic/subject
I chose to do a fanzine on drum and bass music
because I have an interest in music, specifically
this genre of music and I go to lots of raves
where they play this music live for you to listen
to.
What is the purpose of this project, or what is
the point of it?[you can phrase this as a point to
get across, a central argument, etc] The purpose of this is for people who enjoy
listening to this genre of music get to read about
this project and learning more about the music
and where and when it came about. I chose to
do this project as I want more people who
haven’t heard or wouldn’t want to listen to the
music learn more about it.

My intended audience is people over the age of
18 and people who enjoy and attend raves and
listen to this genre of music.

I am going to be interviewing an aspiring DJ who
mixes drum and bass music who has also
performed for an audience.

The photos I will include in my is the raves that I
have taken myself of the crowd and the DJ set. I
will also take photos of the person I choose to
interview and include that.
