2. Locations
• Sandle Castle, Wakefield – I will travel to this location via car
which my brother will take me in, this journey is
approximately an 1hr long so I will pay for the fuel that is
being used. I am expecting to film at this location for 2hrs as
there are multiple shots that I am wanting to take there.
• Harrogate railway line - This is somewhere that I have in mind
for quite some time now as it’s a place that I used to visit it a
lot and has some rough looking areas which is perfect for the
sort of vibe that I am going for, this is only a 5min walk
away from my house which makes this area extremely handy
for me because if footage is not quite right after reviewing it, I
can quickly reshoot it.
• York College - I am planning to film in the car park with the
360 camera, this is somewhere that I have planned to film at
for a while because it is easily accessible and is dark and sets a
moody tone for my music video.
• House- I am also planning to be filming in my house for most
filler shots as this is easily accessible and I will have the ability
to re shoot certain shots if I feel as if they are not good
enough quality for the final video. I will use my bedroom as a
main shooting location within my house as I have access to
LED lights which I am planning to edit later in after effects
3. Equipment
• I have access to my own camera and tripod which will be
my main camera to use to record all the footage that I
need.
• Lighting equipment, torch's etc, I will use my phone torch
for some shots, I will also use lighting equipment that
college provide.
• Insta 360 camera, I will book a time slot in where I can use
the 360 camera at home.
• My pc will be used to review all of my footage and also
is what I will use to edit.
4. Facilities
• There will be only to locations that I will need to edit my music video, First of all I will
need to use the college pcs to edit, and the second facility that I can use is my own
personal computer at my house. I do not currently have access to adobe premiere pro
therefore I will need to join a subscription in order to edit at home.
5. Personnel
• CREW: In the crew there will be me which is an actor and also camera man, there will be Rob which is my brother who will be an
actor and also a camera man, and then there will be Elli which will play the role as an actor. Rob strengths consist of a great
initiative, and he also has access to a car which helps with travel, one of his main weaknesses is that he doesn't watch many music
videos and is unsure on what I am trying to achieve which can be difficult to work with at times, Elli's strengths are that she is not
a shy character which makes her easier to work with as she can sometimes bring ideas to me, however sometimes that’s a
weakness because I will want to get on with filming and she can sometimes be quite interruptive because of how loud she is.
• I may need external people to help with lighting however they will all be easily accessible because they would all be a t college
the same time as me. There should be no cost implications at all as this will be filmed mostly at college, there will be a day where I
am filming elsewhere and will need to buy a ticket for Elli so that she can take the train.
6. Prop/Costume/Etc.
• I will not be in any need of props as it's something that I don’t think is
needed in my music video. I am wanting the costume to be more a
darker shade as it fits the vibe of the song and most of the shots that
are going to be used in my music video will be darker.
• However, I am also wanting a contrast of a darker outfit with maybe a
bright scene in the background of the shot to really have two
complete alternatives so it's not all just one blended colour. I don’t
want to overthin about the outfit that I will be wearing as In other
music videos that are going to be similar to mine the performers are
always in casual clothes. There will be a couple of outfit changes as I
will be filming in different days however, I will stick to the same
theme throughout all my outfits which is streetwear/casual clothing.
7. Production schedule
• I am planning to be filming for the first week of production, I have already
filmed some parts of the music video that I am wanting to edit onto adobe
premiere pro. This is something that I am wanting to do throughout the
first week because I will be able to review the footage and understand
what bits are missing and what bits I am not overly happy with. I am
expecting to spend around 5hrs in total on editing my video within the first
week, I then expect to spend around the same on filming.
• For the next few weeks, I expect to around the same, I also want to film
outside of college on the 2nd week of production, I would like to spend
around 5+hrs on this.
• What I think I may also find useful is filming some fill in shots at home
whenever I have spare time as it's easy to do yet effective because I have
a clear vision as to where I would film in my home and where I would then
place those clips into the editing timeline.

15. Production

• I will be getting help from multiple people in
order to get the best out of this project. I will
have my brother as a cameraman for me
when I am not recording in college, he has a
car which is helpful for me because it allows
me to go to different locations instead of
being limited to filming in Harrogate. I will
also have help from people at college in
order to help me film, and will also help with
lighting, audio etc.
16. Location Information
• One of the areas that I am planning to film at will be located away
from where I live, I have chosen this place because I feel as if it has a
unique look to it as it is a medieval castle, there is a small problem
that comes with this location, the location is quite far away which
makes it more difficult for me to re-shoot any shots that I am not
happy with. There shouldn’t be any technical issues that come with
this location because I have already got many different shots that I am
wanting to take there and I have planned out how I would take these
shots.
