1. Apprenticeship – Routeway
An opportunity to gain training and secure an Apprenticeship within a variety of
Industries across Newcastle upon Tyne
Working Links are currently working closely with local colleges, training providers and
employers to support individuals who are looking at securing an apprenticeship and
work towards a qualification to help individuals with their career progression. The aim of
the course is to support you with your employability skills, secure an interview with an
employer meet with the training providers who will provide you with all of the
information you need to know about apprenticeships and the opportunities available.
The content of the Routeway course is based on the following City and Guilds
qualification
• Interview Skills
• Contributing to a team
• Business and Customer awareness
• Introduction to Customer service
• Support with CV Writing
Learners will be given full information at the course assessment session. Literacy
and numeracy tests will be completed to assess the level of support needed for
each person. Minimum literacy level required - Entry Level 3. Customers must not
currently be accessing any SFA funding.
