Having being with the company for nearly 30 years I have undertaken many different
roles within the company.
• My career began with Group 4 Security as a Mobile Patrol officer, also
carrying out some static and CIT duties After spending around 15 years as
an Mobile Patrol Officer. I progressed through the supervision structure to the
position of Area Business Manager. I currently cover the North East and
Yorkshire to include operations centres Leeds, Sheffield, Hull and
Sunderland.
• With my many years experience I have developed and maintain excellent
working relationships with other divisions of the business. My major focus
being on, service delivery , business growth and account management. My
success in my career has been due to my emphasis on people, processes
and profit. I am proficient in meeting audit standards within my four centres. I
am also proficient in Health & Safety
• Successfully delivering target income and controlling an annual budget
• Recruiting, developing, training and motivating members across the north
east and Yorkshire area, providing mentoring and support to maximise
potential and performance.
• July – Oct 2011 I undertook the responsibility of training and mentoring the
Task Desk CRO’s and supervisors in the M & R Incident Management Centre
in Belfast. The time spent in Belfast was voluntary away from my daily job and
although this project did put extra demands on the running of the core
business, I felt there where benefits for both myself and the IMC alike. I
2. found this rewarding and assisted both sides in understanding the business of
M & R
• Seconded to a Task Force for a six month period October 12 – March 13.
During that time worked on the optimisation of the patrol and response
business unit by creating an operational model for the business. The purpose
of which was to improve the service delivery of Patrol and Response from a
national perspective
• Will be continuing to build a relationship with colleagues in Southern Ireland in
the new year
• Meet regularly with Local and National customers to ensure all contractual
obligations are met.
• I am presently Strategic National Account Manager for a number of clients
which include Barclays ISS , Virgin Money and Leeds Building Society
• Have worked in collaboration with Richard Green and used my operational
knowledge to turn the ISS contract from a loss making to profitable business
• Have also collaborated with colleagues , to win such contracts as Aggregate
Industries Ashington , Norland Services , and the ISS vacant property
portfolio
• Have a positive track record in collaborating with sales and supporting with
operational knowledge an example of this would be the implementation of the
Arriva Trains , and the Co-operative group which grew from its inception I the
Yorkshire area.

together including officers prior to disciplinary. I travel across the North to

security industry over these many years. I have a sound foundation in people
management at all levels giving me again a sound knowledge of this industry.
I manage a fleet of vehicles within across the North East of England and
Yorkshire This includes ensuring that they are all road worthy and in the appropriate
part of the location to meet our target response times for large National and Local
customers alike.
