current or related role, our counselling training courses
can support you in working towards becoming a trained
agency counsellor. The new stand-alone qualification in

Counselling
Counselling can be an incredibly rewarding
job, with the opportunity to make a genuinely
positive impact on people’s lives. Often the

career. Counsellors require substantial training
and experience, which takes a number of years
to achieve.
From being new to counselling to being
a qualified counsellor, you will continue to
undergo training throughout your career. Your
training will extend and enhance your theoretical
knowledge, and you will gain a better grasp of
practical skills and self awareness, developing
your personal moral qualities.
Our extensive training courses range from Level
2 for those looking to test their suitability to
work in this field, to the Level 6 certificate for
experienced counsellors who want to learn the
skills to supervise counsellors.
