Formal Proposal for my Advergame

1. Working Title: Coca-Cola Advergame

Language / Territories: The product will be in English and will be released in the United
Kingdom. It is targeted at the British population but would still be usable in other English
speaking countries. I will make sure it isn’t unsuitable for any cultures or beliefs.
What countries would you release it in? Would it be suitable worldwide or is it targeted at a specific
population? Is it unsuitable for any cultures or beliefs?
Synopsis / Treatment / Story / How the game plays: The game is a sidescrolling runner game
where the character has to run and collect cans of coke. Once all the cans have been
collected he will stop and say “Enjoy Coca-Cola!” This communicates a message to the
audience that you should drink coca-cola.

Audience: The audience for my product is 16-19 year olds of no specific gender. The
audience is people of all social statuses and a psychographic of either a belonger or
socially conscious type-A.

2. Legal & Ethical Considerations: I will make sure to not include any offensive material and it
will not offend any social groups, religions, or ethnicities. I will ensure not to offend anyone
by researching and thoroughly checking my product for things that could be deemed
offensive. I will not restrict younger audiences from engaging with it because although my
product isn’t targeted towards them, there is nothing that would require a restriction. My
product uses existing names but it is the company name of the client, and therefore won’t
infringe on copyright.
