2. Experiment 1
• I firstly experimented with different angles
and shots for example how high I would film
at an angle and if the lighting was good
enough, so I would film in darker settings
under trees and also I challenged a POV angle
to make it more intimate.
3. Process
Tools used-
• Fuji film effect
• Transitions- blur to
fade
• Zoom effect
• A tripod
• Old vintage effect
camera
Processes- I added a
vintage film effect by
choosing witch effect
was my favourite on
premiere pro, The tripod
was used to capture free
hand clips were I
couldn’t hold the
camera.
4. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
• I will defiantly be using The vintage effect on
my filming as I really like the way it makes the
footage look older and retro. I will be using
different angles of the wildlife as well as little
of cusp clips to make it look more natural.
5. Experiment 2
• I was experimenting were to film I couldn’t
decide If I wanted it inside or outside but I
thought that with the editing effects it would
give the impression it was more of a collage of
memories. And I experimented with close up
shots too. This was to switch up the angles to
make it more proffesinal.
6. Process
• I used a range of tools like testing what I could do
with the camera for example if I liked the
saturation or if I didn’t I would turn it down, ialso
experimented with different sounds to make sure
this was what I wanted to create as my initial plan
was different but I had a change of heart. This
was just because I wanted to do what was
achievable from me in the time I had. I Used the
note section in my phone to write down timings I
had to follow with and different angles like for
example above the bed, close up , longshot.
7. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
• I will defiantly include the shots like longshots
and close up as I feel it makes the story more
interesting for the watcher, I want to include a
contrast of colours like dark and light witch
will reflect the mood.
