The industry I am aiming to work in is
Sports Marketing and Media.
The goal specifically is to work more
towards a specific team. It would be great
to broadcast or report specifically for team
as the San Francisco Giants, the San
Francisco 49ers, or the Golden State
Warriors.
INDUSTRY
• I am Cieara Spooner born in California and raised in Arizona.
• What is different about me is I grew up playing basketball. I
started when I was 5 years old and knew since high school I wanted
to work in this industry because I want to love what I do. I love
sports and its what makes me happy.
SKILLS
• I am very good with active listening.
• I have been working with Microsoft
office for years.
• I am great with customer service!
• I can always work within a team as well
as independently.
• I have very good discipline and
determination.
• I love to be great at what I do.
PROFESSION
• Currently I am in a specialist role that has to relate to the
people.
• What makes me different is I know how to see myself in
someone else's shoes. To be great with people you have to have
your own opinion but see where someone else is coming from.
• To be a professional you have to relate to people.
• By being in sport media you have to know how to make
people see a different point of view which is how I currently
work everyday.
CREDENTIALS
• What makes me a credible person is the past history of my experience.
• I have been in the work force since I was 15.
• When I was 18 I made the choice to serve my country and served in the
military.
• You can look into my past experience and interview people in my life
and they would all be a solid reference to my character.
PROMISE
• The promise I make to any future employer is that I will always
work my best.
• I will always take the time to learn anything thing I need and
always put 110% effort into any work I have to do.
• I will appreciate anything that is given to me because I will always
be grateful to the opportunity.
POSITIONING
Why should someone hire or
work with you rather than
your competition?
• Someone would hire me
over the competition
because of my passion. I
love sports and will always
be dedicated to my job.
How do you want your
audience to think of you?
• I want the audience to see
me as a mo0tivator. I will
overcome every obstacle I
face to do what I love in life.
How are you different than
your competition?
• I am different than my
competition because I am
not going to give up. I am
here to always keep trying
and be apart of this industry.
AUDIENCE
Any person involved in Sports Marketing and Media would need to know me.
What influences this audience is sports players. People who discuss sports on a regular basis
are old players or have been in the industry a log time. I would need to prove myself as
knowing my stuff. Anyone in this industry will always follow sports whether at work or on their
off time because it is a huge impact in their life.
NETWORKING AND
MARKETING
How will you gain the attention of your future employer, customers, or clients?
• A way to gain exposure is within social media and gaining connections. With working with different companies by
doing anything such as volunteer or interning, you can meet many people. By working online and with companies
you can meet many people to help with networking.
How can you create a strong relationship with your audience?
• The easiest way to build a string connection with my audience is to be authentic and truthful.
What type of content will you publish online to provide value to your audience?
• The content I would publish online would be related to my life and how I feel about what is yhappening in the
sports world. I would be showing a different point of view.
COMPETITORS
Any competitor would be anyone with a Sport marketing
or Sport media degree.
Also anyone with more connections within the industry.
PROFESSIONAL
DEVELOPMENT
What I need to do for improvement Is gain more
experience. I need to intern at a sports media
profession so gain experience within the career
field.
I need to gain more experience working within the
media field and more experience within marketing.
IK have some but very minor experience and it
needs to be improved.
A work schedule of time whether is a year or a
summer is needed to get adequate experience.
GOALS
• I want to develop a brand that shows who I am as a sports individual
and motivate people to follow their dreams. I always played sports and
wanted to stay apart of the world whether its playing or in some other
form.
• I would like to grow my brand. I would look to grow by social media.
With twitter, Facebook, or any social media platform. I wo0uld broadcast
my professional image with a professional site and Linkedin. The purpose
of my personal brand is to show who I am as individual personally and
professionally.

Anyone in this industry will always follow sports whether at work or on their off time because it is a huge impact in their life.
  • 10. NETWORKING AND MARKETING How will you gain the attention of your future employer, customers, or clients? • A way to gain exposure is within social media and gaining connections. With working with different companies by doing anything such as volunteer or interning, you can meet many people. By working online and with companies you can meet many people to help with networking. How can you create a strong relationship with your audience? • The easiest way to build a string connection with my audience is to be authentic and truthful. What type of content will you publish online to provide value to your audience? • The content I would publish online would be related to my life and how I feel about what is yhappening in the sports world. I would be showing a different point of view.
  • 11. COMPETITORS Any competitor would be anyone with a Sport marketing or Sport media degree. Also anyone with more connections within the industry.
  • 12. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT What I need to do for improvement Is gain more experience. I need to intern at a sports media profession so gain experience within the career field. I need to gain more experience working within the media field and more experience within marketing. IK have some but very minor experience and it needs to be improved. A work schedule of time whether is a year or a summer is needed to get adequate experience.
  • 13. GOALS • I want to develop a brand that shows who I am as a sports individual and motivate people to follow their dreams. I always played sports and wanted to stay apart of the world whether its playing or in some other form. • I would like to grow my brand. I would look to grow by social media. With twitter, Facebook, or any social media platform. I wo0uld broadcast my professional image with a professional site and Linkedin. The purpose of my personal brand is to show who I am as individual personally and professionally.
