3. About me.
Hi, My name is Clarissa Ramirez. I was born and raised in the bay area. When I was little my grandma would always take me
shopping with her and let me play in her closet. I believe that is where my passion for fashion begun. Fashion is something to have
fun with ! I always knew I wanted to build myself a career in the fashion industry, but at first I was not exactly sure what I wanted
to do in the industry. As I grew older and began to learn more about the industry through working retail and going to school, I
decided Merchandising Marketing would be the perfect fit for me. Ideally I hope to start off as a buyer for a well-known fashion
company, then see where the road takes me from there.
I am very open to new opportunities and am really big on living in the moment, I set goals for myself and plan out steps on how
to achieve them. The idea of endless possibilities has always motivated me to try my best at whatever I do. I ultimately want to
love my job and create many memories while doing so. Working for something I am passionate about is highly important to me.
Being optimistic and believing in endless possibilities are two qualities I believe will help me gain success in my career.
4. Mission Statement.
As I begin my career in the fashion
industry, I aspire to build a career for
myself where I can apply my variety of
skills and experience I’ve gained to go
along with my strong work ethic. I live
each day with a positive attitude and strive
to be the best I can be in all aspects of my
life. My whole life I’ve been told that if I
truly want something I can achieve it with
dedication and perseverance. Being happy
is truly important to me and I want to be
able to look back and say I’ve
accomplished all I set out for.

10. Modifications: After analyzing the
store's inventory and researching the
target market, I believe a few
modifications can help the sales. I
found out this Macy's has a lot of older
clientele. By expanding the selection
of widths in the comfort shoes, sales
will increase. Another modification I
would suggest is to increase the
quantity of all sizes. Sizes such as 5 and
11 were often low in the inventory.
Based on the specific customer profile
at this location I would lower the
amount of heel heals because I found
out that a majority of their customers
come in for every day shoes or work
shoes. Pricing I found to be
appropriate. Only modification I would
make in color would been adding more
navy and white because that seems to
be a customer's favorite along with
black and brown.
