This a research project that discusses the element and construction our project. It show how we intend to make and research our project and the artists image.
1. The music video is called drifting love and it is part of an album called
Life with Love. The music video and song tell the story of a young
teenage girl slowly seeing the love of her life slipping away from her as
he moves on without her, she deals with the loss of a young loves and
reviews her time with him, through a series of narrative shots.

3. Drifting love is a pop song and the artist drew inspirations from the song read all about it as she follows
and admires the work of Emilie Sandé. We are thinking of drawing inspiration from birdy’s music video
shelter, in this music video there is a display of nature. The running time of this video is 5 minutes. The
video will consist of nature scenes, flashbacks and elements of the young girls life, as she learns how to
move on from heartbreak. This will also be in dispersed with performance aspects.
4. Our target is audience is teenagers and young adults between the ages of 13-25. The research will
contain some radio stations that would hypothetically play this song e.g. Capital FM. “It's no
coincidence that 58% of those who tune in to Capital are aged between 15-34 and make up the
main target audience for the station. 43% of listeners are male and the majority of the Capital
audience are female at 57%”.
5. We are working with an aritst called Darmonelle Johnson and she is a
young artist whose choice of genres is pop and soul. Her interests are
writing her own music and singing covers. Producing this album cover and
publicity, will promote what she has to offer and will not only help us to
make a successful product, but also help her make advances in her singing
career.

6. Darmonelle’s U.S.P is that she is a young talented artist and often sings versions of current songs
with her own spin on them. Therefore she has a unique selling point as her voice is quite original.
The product is likely to succeed as it fits well into genres that are popular amongst our target
audience.
