intuitions might distribute
your media product and

2. I have researched magazine publishing companies that I could use for my music
magazine for publication and distribution. I have found examples of publication
companies bellow.
Looking at both publishers I can see that IPC publish the very successful NME
magazine. This is good as I want to publish my magazine and want it to be done
successfully.
3. I will use IPC media to distribute
my magazine as they are a very
successful publishing company.
And publish for very big magazine
brand such as Marie Claire Look
and NME. Using a successful
publisher would decrease risk
when publishing my magazine and
make more opportunity for it to do
well.
4. Another advantage of using IPC is that they do not
currently distribute any hip hop magazines. This is
good as there is more chance they will agree in
distributing my product. The only music magazine
they distribute is NME and my magazine and NME
are different genres therefore NME will not affect
my magazine.
5. I have gathered information on
NME’s target information. Firstly
the cover price is higher then my
magazine this is good as I will not
have to compete with NME’s
price. Another advantage is that
NME have a broader age range
for their target audience mine is
14-24 NME’s is 15-34. A big
advantage NME has is that it has
7.7 million unique readers and
have been running since 1952.
This is a disadvantage however
should not affect my magazine as
the genres are different.
