therefore appropriate as I can introduce to them a new type
of genre as they dont currently publish a pop magazine. This
could give them an advantage of competing with competitors
as they‘re already a top selling magazine institution. Offering
them a new type of genre will offer their readers with new
content and widen their audiences.

This institution is appropriate for publishing my magazine
as they are already familiar with the pop music genre
from ‘Top of the Pops.’ As they are already experienced
with how much a pop magazine may sell, giving my brand
to them will be helpful as they’ll know exactly the
number of products that should be sold.

• From research I have found that UK published
magazines are decreasing in sales. The results
I have found is that Top of the Pops has
decrease by 13.4% and We Love Pop has
decreased by 10.7%. This tells me that using
distributors like Egmont and BBC Magazines
may not make my magazine as successful as it
could be.
8. I feel that if I chose Bauer Media to distribute
my magazine, it would become successful due to
how well the institution sells.
Bauer Media will essure that my magazine
becomes a largely known magazine as they can
advertise worldwide and receive larger profit.
From the previous research there is also
evidence that UK published magazines arent as
successful therefore Bauer Media may be more
of an advantage to my magazine.
