2. “Hello, I am C. AmaKai Clark. I am originally from Boston,
Massachusetts. Growing up in Boston I learned that honest business
ethics is always a priority. I carried that with me throughout my
career. I come from a background of musicians in my Family. There was
always different kinds of music genres playing in our home. I was
always singing and harmonizing with every songs that blared through
the radio. My friends in high school would say “You know every song on
the radio.” As a child I was too shy to go on stage to sing. I started out
as a dancer, in my Mother’s African dance company. Which helped me
build confidence. I soon went into Theatre Arts. Where I fell in love
with the stage. I then attended Berklee College of Music on a 4-year
Diploma Scholarship, by audition. My writing skills intensified. I
received several opportunities during that time. I traveled to Munich,
Germany to perform, became a member of AFTRA, and bmi, recorded
with MCA Records as Background vocalist, wrote and appeared on
several jingles, and complications as a session singer, and solo artist. I
spend several years in Atlanta, Ga and managed a solo artist, a model,
and a Rap trio for 3 years. I then ventured into Artist Relations
Management, for 4 years. I am presently an artist relations manager,
for WizMack, a rap artist. I also work at various local recording
studios as an assistant producer, and songwriter”.

14. C. AmaKai Clark
“I have great innovative ideas, and I also work well under pressure. While I attended Pine Manor
College my Marketing class was split into groups to form a mock corporation. I spoke with my group
members about an idea I felt would work towards increasing college enrollment, with
international students. The idea applied to students who were researching and scouting colleges,
and universities to attend in America. I was very excited my group approved of it. We began our
work. I acted as President of the Corporation in the group assignment. I produced the idea to give
each student, overseas, a ‘Host Student’ from Pine Manor College. This made it possible for the ‘Host
Student’ and the International student to created a bond. Sharing experience about the college,
and their own lives, through video chat, and social media’s. The student had the opportunity to
embrace a better feeling of what it would be like, going to school in America. Building a positive
relationship with a ‘Host Student’ would contribute towards the International student enrollment
at Pine Manor College. My teams Marketing Strategy Won the Marketing Strategy Competition at
Pine Manor College.”
